Though his technique has made him a suspect in the eyes of many, the fact remains that he has performed quite creditably in the recent past, especially in the 20-20s. I believe that he does have the ability to do well in the 50 over matches as well.

Gambhir has poor technique to succeed at ODI or Test level. He plays too much across, particularly to the ball swinging in. He's always scored runs when he goes after the ball and has very little to loose.. like in 20/20 or in a high scoring game.
