Indian Hokey has gone dowm fron zenith to zadir because of dropping of Danraj pillai by the so called Sardarji who like to pinch butts of Woman IAS ofiicer. Now, Dravid dropped by Venserkar! the fu...g devil in Indian cricket. The 20T for Doni and party is like drop in the frying pan. Why did not the Selectors drop him once and all, they can not, knowing fully that their head is counted now and once for all, DRAVID YOU ARE MAHATHMA! NEVER LOOSE YOUR COOL HEAD, WE ARE WITH YOU. I KNOW IT IS DIFFICULT TO DIGEST. I APPRICIATE YOUR STAND FOR NOT BUCKLING TO VENGSERKAR WHO WANT TO BECOME DEFACTO NON PLAYING CAPTION OF BCCI TEAM. BRING BACK DRAVID!

Again, just another instance of a southie who feels a southie should never be dropped from the team weather he performs or not. Saurav was dropped too, Rahul isnt indispensible, he or any player should be dropped if not performing weather from north, south, west, or east. And pls have a look at sachin n saurav's performance in england and australia series before u say anything abt dropping them

Then rahul why not Dhoni should be dropped. He had constantly failes from SA series. Then why not selectors dropped him.Where he was in the team only 4 his batting.Because neday kartick and parthib patel is better keeper than dhoni. And dont judgement his captaincy. In ODI's we lost 4-2.If rain not saved us then it would be 5-.And 20-20 is not proper cricket. Its 4 fun n entertainment.Even ICC acknowledge that by allowing only 7 20-20 per yr for a country.Even most successful batsman of 20-20 Yuvi said that thats not cricket.

hehe.. but on a serious note i have noticed these southies having this looser like attitude. Whenever a player from south gets dropped, they say its because of the Mumbai lobby. Wasnt so long ago when there were 6 players from Karnataka alone in the team, Rahul, Kumble, Srinath, Prasad, Sunil Joshi, S Somasunder, and even that good for nothing David Johnson, at tht time nobosy from the non-south region said there is a south lobby. They have this narrow minded attitude, and whichever field they arent doing well, they blame bombay or delhi for it.
I am not so shocked and disheartened by Dravid's exclusion but feel sick about why Ganguly is still there in a Oneday team. If the selectors want a good and experienced opening pair agains the likes of Shaib Akhtar they have many other options.
Ganguly if he succeeds in a match I can assure that India underscores atleast 30 runs becuase of his poor running, bad strike rotation and ability to kill the tempo so often. He is a horrible fielder. His bowling is not so useful in Indian conditions. Cant understand the basis of his selection.
Of the big 3 only Tendulkar can merit a place in an ODI. He is enough to even nuture the brooming talents.
Dravid and Ganguly should stick to Test Match only. I like Ganguly's determination and the way he is playing in tests. But he is just not the kind for ODI. He doesn't go after the bowling the way he used to go earlier.
People! please do not bracket Tendulkar, Ganguly and Dravid in 1 group. Tendulkar is surely the greatest ODI batsman ever, handy bowler and never the glitch in the field. His place in ODI team is surely justified but there should be no Ganguly and Dravid. ganguly for reasons above and Dravid is more often a liability than an asset in a One Day scenario.
So only 1 senior is enough in ODI and that should be Tendulkar.

Why?Has Tendulkar bought share in the BCCI to keep him playing till he desires to?If the other two can be dropped due to dip in the performance, why can't he?Whenever he underperforms he travels with the side as an asset. He is the most selfish in the present team!

Because he still delivers and when he fails to , he will be axed. As for your sickness , consult a psychiatrist.
While selecting the team a person can not be selected on his past success and present failure. It is indeed a wel-come dropping by selection committee.
Dear Selectors so called please see that no players age should cross 30 even if it is sachin we are one billion and we have hundreds of sachins and i think all cricket lovers will agree this. They really need to select the dashing players I mean all rounders all over India.

Yes i agree to you , we need more fit and active players in the field too. players like tendular and ganguly should retire on their own and have their respect for lifelong. other than be dropped like dravid, who was just considered for his last 10 matches average.

He was not forced to keep wickets. When he was keeping wickets his average with the bat was 33 and his strike rate 61.Ganguly revived his career by making him a more utility player and thereby saving his head from being axed !! Please get your facts right, any cricket knowing person will agree to the above !!

during the time, there was toss up between dravid n laxman for place in odi, both being similar in batting style. dravid having addl skill of being keeper was preferred in odi n laxman was phased out of odi plans.

during the time, there was a toss up between dravid n laxman for a place in odi, both being similar in batting style. dravid having addl. skill of keeping wkts was preferred n laxman's place was slowly taken away. in test matches also, dravid accepted the team decision whenever they asked him to open innings unlike laxman.

He wasnt' forced to keep wickets, he had no other option. He sucked as an ODI batsman initially, and had to play wicetkeepers role in order to keep his place. As time passed, he got better and better as an ODI batsman. And shuffling of his order, i think he always batted at number 5 under saurav, he was shuffled the most when he himself was the captain, used to open sometimes, came at number 3,5,6, but he himself was the captain. Just tht ur trying to blame someone else for Rahul's recent failures. He is a great batsman, and like any other player does, he is going through a lean patch and will be back very soon, so u dnt rhave to blame someone for his failures
