why vengsarkar has selected sehwag into the 15 members squad?. Sehwag has only scored 75 runs in one one day match and then got selected. But badrinath is consistently performing all the matches in challenger trophy. Vengsarkar was paid some huge amount to select sehwag. He is not selecting the team based on merit and current form. If then badrinath should have been selected.Morever dravid should not be dropped completely for all ODIs. But dravid can be ommited from playing 11 on rotational basis. This should be followed for all non performing senior players. So god only can save indian cricket from politics.

Yahi samaj mein nahi aa raha, mystery hai. Lagta hai Badri ka chota hai aur Sehwag ka mota, tabhi Vengsarkar ne Sehwag ko pasand kiya...
If Indian Team was to selected on public vote, we would never have decent team. No wonder that if a player performs well for couple of series, he becomes permanent member for long times. There is no need to emotional about Rahul. He can always come back and come back after sorting out his batting for ODI's. Wont be long when he is back. But people got to understand that if a player however big should be withdrawn when he is low in confidence and hit a lean patch. By withdrawing him momentrally and giving him time to analyse and correct himself is better than pushing him in the middle every time and expecting he would get on track.

Abe yahi to sabi kah rahe hai over the years. Where were U all this while? If performance yeardstick is the sole criteria then what is the God (Sachin Tendulkar) doing in the team. Can you recall the performance of Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh is the overseas series in West Indies, South Africa, World Cup and England. Based on their performance can they qualify to any other team?
There is more than meets the eye about Rahul Dravid%u2019s exclusion from the Indian team. Vengsarkar defends dropping Dravid because of his recent form and inclusion of Sehwag because of the performance in the Challenger series. If Dravid was not performing well, why wasn%u2019t he included in the Challenger series like Sehwag to prove his fitness/form? Sehwag performed well in only one of the three Challenger matches he played while there were others like Raina and Badrinath who performed well in all the matches they played. What is the justification about his selection? While it is true that Dravid didn%u2019t perform well in the last tournament, the reasons for his being left out can be attributed firstly to his resignation from the Indian captaincy earlier (the Board and selectors took that as an insult) and because he doesn%u2019t belong to any lobby (read West Zone and North Zone) and doesn%u2019t have any godfather.

Dravid was a wise man, he resigned sensing trouble because the ...kars and Pawars were already get Sachin Tendulkar as captain, because that was the only way he could have retained his place in the side. Sachin's elevation out of the blues as Vice-Captain for World Cup was not by chance, but a well-planned move by the Mumbai lobby. However, the move backfired with Dravid sensing trouble and quitting gracefully. Otherwise these morons would have made him a scapegoat and sacked him. Don't worry Dravid, whether u play now or not, those who followed cricket during the last decade and half would always certainly rate you as the finest batsman in contenprorary cricket.
Now the boomerang is back to dravid.. he shd now realized when a player like his caliber being dropped ..how it means.. as everyone knows sourabh is definitely a bigger match winner than dravid.. (his records says that..nt me)bt still dravid managed to drop him for no cause. first sourabh was thrown..out of the team.. bt he fought back played well in demostic matches ..proved himself.. bt ..STILL Dravid was reluctant to get him play into the playing 11. so Fair enough ..u got ur Due Mr Dravid. Now get some tip from DADA because now u will realize how tough it is for a Superstar to again rise from a fallen grave.. time has to say..
