If the spectators dance like monkey, how in the world it becomes racial?
The Austrailians are doing the racial discrimination in their country, they are practising and used to it. When they saw the monkey dancing they misunderstood it for racial abuse.
indians are just jealous of the mighty aussies as they keep trashin india all da time ,aussies are the world champs wat do u expect of em ,sit like mice? india wins few games and they sit like gods on BEST buses thank god they the no 7 team and not no 1
as seen in the photograph there were i think not more that 2-3 people making monkey gestures. It is very unfair to write that the whole crowd was doing like this.
Indian fans should be less demonstrative of their love towards their countrymen. They should understand that racial abuse is a cardinal sin all over the world & it is a crime. After all Cricket is just a sport & it should not be treated as a godly game. To be fair the politically ruled BCCI should take serious action as otherwise the global image of Indian public will be badly tarnished. Strict measures & actions should hence be taken to avoid such incidents. Being a die hard Indian fan i also have emotions flying high when the men in blue take the field but at the end of the day quality cricket is what matters. Andrew Symmonds is one of the greatest all-rounders of present date & should be respected as he is a thorough entertainer & presenter of the sport. The BCCI should now atleast ban the venues (where Symmonds was subjected to racial abuse)for atleast 18 months so that any such incident in the future is avoided. People should learn to behave properly & we should welcome & respect the touring teams with love & warmth, after all that is what India & Indians are better known for rather than the racial chants. Media should also understand that not all Indians are indulging in racial abuse. We do respect a tough guy like Andrew Symmonds. An apology letter should be sent by the BCCI to Andrew Symmonds on the behalf of Indian citizens. There should be no more racial abusing of any player in the future as well. Necessary measures need to be taken against such stupid antics.....

why?????? giving monkey chants does not mean racism..what about the abusive language that the aussies use against the Indians on field...why don't you ask a apology letter from aussies first....

Mr Ashish, Am sure it feels great to u when u criticize the country in which u were born and brought up. I wont differ at the negative things India has, but dont try to prove to me that the US is the best place to live. It sucks big time man. What corruption and pollution are u talking about, when these guys kill innocent people only for their own good. You say India is full of corruption, what will u call US's invasion of Iraq. Do u still believe it was to free the people of Iraq from Saddam Hussain. Cmon man US has its own share of problems. Besides what will you call a country where the people themselves feel that the culture and heritage has taken a back seat. U think US is a great country where school children take guns to schools and shoots their own friends and teachers. U ran away from India which u call a grave, but went to a country of butchers. Kudos to you, but watch what u say in a public blog like this. There are people like me who have rich sentimental value for India. So from the next time before u criticize just watch what u say. I know there r a lot of things wrong in India, but so is any other country in the world. Just know ur facts, US economy is slowly on the downride whereas Indian economy is rising higher. Am sure the day u see India as a super power u wil come back to India saying India is my Motherland. U guys are sick.
