The picture does not tell anything. What the photographer saw and what we percieve are totally different. Suppose only the phoograph was shown to all the viewers, then each one would have had different opinion and believe me there would have been any flavor of abuse. Then had it been explained that it was part of abuse, then people would have taen it as a matter of fact. Media could have projected the photo as people enjoying a day at the stadium. Aussies in the past have poured a lot of abuses on Indians, Lankans and Pakis. Has anybody clicked those images and shown it to the world? No. Its pure bullying tactics of the Aussies and other whites. Request with the people is that take the photo as people enjoying a day at the stadium rather than getting brainwashed by a white. I am disappointed with Rediff to showerng racial abuses on Indians.
This page represents how media helps in enhancing things out of proportion and putting salt on wounds. The comments are all racial but are freely published for the world to view. My view: What the audience did was wrong. India should apologise for what is done to Symonds. Let Australians do what they do, we should not forget our culture. And lastly, if there is some due diligence left with rediff, please remove all the comments in this page. This photograph tells us to stop racial abuse, not to encourage it as is represented by the comments published. Correct me if I am wrong? anyone....

Now this is new India's aggresive indians, now we can show our agression everywhere on the feild or off the feild. Cant u see that how many times australians abuse our playes (Ex-Harbhajan and Gilchirist)If they can show their agressiveness y we can't??

Monkey noises are often used in the West to taunt people from Afro-carribean / Asian origin. Recently an Indian political activist was abused by an American politician who had to apologise ( Well elections were round the corner).
While we cannot deny racism in our country. We often make such remarks at our own people but the lie from Symmonds about Vadadora who himself made racial comments while sledging Harbhajan in the previous match angered the usually brilliant indian supporters. Australia's sledging [ Including spectators who threw bananas at Murali and made racial taunts ] were all factors for the Indian reaction and this reaction is equally bad and I condemn it whole heartedly and we should stop being racist and stop commenting about our own countrymen/women about the Skin colour.
Paras, Monkey's like humans and other animals too have different colours ,shapes but they are not civilized enough for making racial taunts instead they attack and kill each other. The rule in their world is still simple 'Might is right' and Kill only to eat.
For Aussies ... You reap what you sow. This is your contribution to cricket which was once a Gentleman's game.

Hey loser! stop behaving..tell me one thing..we guys are the one's who attack cricketers houses when they lose (Talk about being fair) None of the Indian cricketers have gone ahead n requested the crowd to keep quite.We treat them like Gods, they come in commercials n all they are thinkin right now is about MONEY..wake up! iam not saying those guys (Aussies,English,pakistani's) are not sledgers..but then they perform too! unlike our indians who keep shuffling their players, televisions channels getting jobless explayers to pass their reveiw on cricket..n we fall for it! come on, chuck the game..we have better things to talk about! Aussies came here n trashed us 4-2 but then we are STUPIDS supporting the team..saying atleast we won the last game..even the 20-20..v all know how it works..

how is this a reply to what he wrote??? Since Aussies perform, they shd be allowed to sledge. Since some Indians stone cricketer's house,noone in India shd comment on cricket. You have some game, and the rest of us shd chuck cricket for it, bcoz we dnt win cricket matches.

See the article says that the ACB told this photographer to catch the moment similar to this...like teasing Symond as monkey. So if this is the case the why all the things are comming out slowly why did Ponting said that both teams are behaving properly. Still if you see the photos realize that Symond is saying some abuse words to Harbhajan and look at his hand.....where is his hand? this is the peculier characteristics of Monkey Head his jeans are not fully develop he is still in monkey state. Does anyone give a thought that it was Symonds who welcomed the crowd to make monkey chants?
He cried foul when there was no monkey chants in Vadodra and Nagpur. So the Indians thought it was a nice idea to call him a monkey! He screamed loudly- "aa bail mujhe maar" and the public responded!
Try this-- whatever you do dont think of yourself as a monkey.
