Yes! Australian players are so thick skinned being the descendents of anti social & the most despicable deported elements of Britain they are insensitive to words!
Javed Miandad assessed them fast and correctly and gave the right treatment to Dennis Lillee deserved for kicking Javed on his run up.
That is the only treatment they understand but Indians are too refined and civilised to mete this kind of treatment.
If there was ever any one player who stood up to the abusive, acerbic, arrogant, Aussies it was Javed!

When Pakistan was touring Australia, when the Aussies faced stiff resistance from the Pakistani batsmen and when even the great Dennis Lillee was not spared, Lillee got frustrated and thought the players from the Sub-continent are very subdued. Javed Miandad was batting and at the bowlers end at that time! Dennis Lillee on his follow through purposefully kicked Javed in his posterior. Javed was so infuriated, and he being raised on the streets of Karachi knows how to respond! Instantly he raised his bat to break the head of Dennis Lillee! Had the umpire not come exactly in between the players at that time Dennis Lillee's head would have been broken into two halves from that raised bat!
If you want to see the picture get to any of the cricketing sites or magazines! I guess it was one of the most well published pictures as a warning to all the players as to what the consequences could have been if they take sledging too far! YOU MUST LOOK AT THAT PICTURE!
