Because Australians, the inventors of sledging, have been doing this sledging for decades and going scot-free, because, the ICC was under the control of Whites. They are under the impression that it is their birthright to abuse Asians. Now suddenly when they find an Indian paying them in their own currency they are startled and unble to digest the fact. Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev had been at receiving end at Australia many times and Aussies like Ian Chappell will never ever acknowledge that Gavaskar& Sachin are great. Because they are extremely jealous of the records of the Asians as they are under the opinion that whites like them can only make such records. Remember how they troubled Muttaiah Muralidaran and tried to ban him from playing cricket because they wanted shane Warne's record should not be surpassed. Asian players have been many times penalised for simple errors while allowing white players going scot-free by white match referees. Such whire referees must be kicked on their asses and thrown out. Sreesanth might have slightly exceeded the limit, but had he performed better even that could have been forgiven. BCCI should take a firm stand and retort ICC that making monkey noises by a section of a crowd does not amount to racial abuse. ICC is dependent on BCCI and not the vice versa But sharad pawar wants to become chairman of ICC.Will he do it ?

Yes Anna - Racism is bad and hence we need to oppose ICC tooth and nail whose every decision has been biased against Asians though Asians are the biggest money spinners for them. Shame on BCCI that inspite of their monetary clout they cannot stand up to ICC.

They should understand that our most popular God is in the form of Monkey-hanuman. So even some one has sang the monkey chant, no one need to be worried. All writers to this issue should view/listen to How many times aussies have made racial remarks against Indian cricketers(Tendulkar, Harbajansingh, Ravi Shastri) It is a high time that BCCI shoud show their muscles to ICCI (where does ICCi's majority funds are coming from?)and tell them xxxx off. Only whites have right to tell public about racial abuses, not indians, pakistanis, srilankans and bangladeshi!!! BCCI should,this time with evidence showing previous abuses/racial slurs made by Aussies to Indian cricketers and submit their case to ICCI and
