While aggression should be met with aggression, Indians should cow down and offer the other cheek, I suppose. Is this what Prem wants? Indians cannot play Gandhi all the time, and they are not expected to do so.
For the resent issues on sreesanth, why need to encourage him? want him to drop for some matches and BCC take action against him. Ofcourse, then everyone will not behave like this. But courage want to show if take wickets, but it will not hurt anyone. If the same other behave against our bats man, how we will react?
So, drop sreesanth for some matches and advice him by experts like old senior palyers. We give respect to other players, then only expect the same from others.

When Symonds himself has blamed the Media for blowing the "racism issue" out of proportion, is there need for a senior writer like you to dwell upon a non-issue? The Aussie press is full of it becoz their journos are only trying to justify or mark their presence in India. After all, more copy equates to more points scored with their Editor. So, why should you give cognizance to it? As for Sreesanth, he is only a kid and I would hold Dhoni responsible for not taming him. The so-called mind games is only part of hype and at the end of the day, it is how you perform in the middle is what counts. Ian Chappell was a past master at sledging and his irreverence to authority is well chronicled when he attended a disciplinary hearing wearing shorts! Gavaskar is no angel and we all know the politics he played during his captaincy with Kapil Dev responding in kind. While no response can be better than beating the Aussies on the field, perhaps the India team should borrow a leaf from the book of saurav ganguly's controlled reposte which irritated Waugh but never crossed the limit of decency.
