A lot of learned people will tell that u need to be mentally strong to be a good cricketer, that u not be perturbed by a comment or two, and that any assault on you is sure sign that you are doing good. I would like to have a different opinion. Tell me why is it only Australia that despite being the world champion for most number of times resorts under the rug of words when it comes to get a batsman out...we are talking about a team that has giant like Lee, symonds, ponting, gilchrist, hayden.
or is it that these are giants coz they disrupt the concentration of opponents by a war of words. Then, if its later, how different is aussie cricket then a school level game. or let me dwell a little deeper, how different is an aussie cricketor then a kid who needs something, upon not handed over willingly he starts crying and throwing tantrums. Grow up ponting and side, u really need to prove the world that u are are bunch of men, and not mere school boys who cry, shout and sledge for being hit on one ball.
Cricket is game of character, its high time that these people start realizing it. Already cricket is loosing its charm after being dragged into a controversy of match fixing and nature, dont de grade it by behaving like school boys and acting kiddish.. I dont understand the need of use of the "F" word, coz in my opinion you would still need to bowl the batsman out, yeah i agree it would be different if ICC can allow someone being called out just by calling names to him...:-)
in fact..its pity that as a nation we still revel in what was invented as a colonial time pass... and what to speak of the british tyranny, we are not yet completely fed up of being subjected to their stupid whims and fancies...i pity those who admire crciket so much.. and look at these self created super heroes like kapil dev and gavaskar...well , shame on them for they survive on the gullible public and the tabloid media particularly this aaj tak... and some words for sharad pawar, who is the main man behind all this bullshit...mr pawar by the way do u know hhich are the monsoon hit states for agricculture this year...i m suree u will be knowing the weather forecast of a cricket match venue...shame on u...die u fat man...or i promise some fan will shoot u some day...u r ugly and pathetic...oooooooooooof
Am sorry to quote Mother coz I dont know any quiet soul from australia apart from few kangaroos whos character is better than their cricketers but those ones dont like playing cricket and sledging; they re busy with food hunting
The Aussies sledge and abuse racially all the time and i think we should give the a taste of thir own medicine. However we should prove it physically on the feild and not sledge (well not too much). How long can we listen to them and not say anything? Shree shouldn't cross a limit and get it into physical terms.. ...They sledge so much that even a gentlemen like Pathan became aggresive... i bet Symonds said something to him!!!!!!
Cricket is different, that involves mind games, tacts, aggression, anger etc,
Oldies like you should Go and watch Golf from distance...leave Cricket alone.
Players like Sreesanth are the ones who give opponents a nightmare!!!He is young and let him have his own style. When he becomes a old dog like you,he will shut up naturally...
I think Sree should show his mettle in his bowling and not words! Every match he gives more than 7 runs per over...I think Symonds had the last laugh in this series...just see the way guy has scored runs and contributed to Aussie win!
Looks like you have lots of inferiority complex. May be you should move to some white western country. Or who knows, you may have already moved there. Well I don't like Sree's stupidity. But you don't have to write Bible on this. Get over it. You are not gonna be white at least not in this birth.

Prem has had stint in New York for a period of approximately four years; and now that he is up the ladder on the editorial board of Rediff, he seems to have forgotten how the Americans reciprocate a good gesture!!!
Ian Chappell is known for that "underarm bowling" decision that he made his brother Trevor do to save an ODI. Was that really sporting Ian? Look at yourself?

who cares chappel or chappal, they should all shut up and mind their own bloody business. Maybe Chappell can take his girlfriend Prem Panicker to Australia, and they can live together. That way when prem feels like kissing Aussie ass he will have easy access.

While I agree with you but just a small correction. The Captain who asked his brother Trevor to bowl under-arm was Greg Chappel & NOT Ian Chappel.

He Should tell his beloved Aussie team to behave on and off feild first. You don't go to a country, who is co-incidently passionate about their cricket, and speak against their cricketers! ....especially Mr Symonds.....
