Dravid needs to be DROPPED from ODIs immediately!
by Starwar on Oct 13, 2007 06:29 AM  | Hide replies

As part of Greg's retirement policy, captain Dravid dropped seniors from team based on performance . Now Dravid needs to be DROPPED from ODIs immediately!

Dravid has made 73 run in the list 8 innings. His scores are as follows :1,24,4,0,31,0,13,0.

Junior players like Badrinath, Raina or Sehwag should replace Dravid now immediately..... as Dravid is no longer able to perform as a ODI batsman.

Dravid Overall strike rate is nice 82.36

What a great wisdom by Ganguly to increase averages at poor strike rate very very slowly, as per ODI dtandards

Here is detailed scores of Ganguly very very great Ganguly against minnows and masala matches

66 v BD at Port of Spain
89 v Ber at Port of Spain
32 v Afr masala match at Bangalore
88 v Afr masala match at Chennai
73* v Ire at Belfast
Just great Dada is greatest king against minnows for Bongs......
And as a Bong you wish to drop Dravid... Ha....ha....ha...

BTW Ganguly had bad performance for two years compared to Dravid 3 matches...

Save the indian pride by winning last ODIs....you money minded cricketers...
by andhramki on Oct 12, 2007 07:58 PM

This is Ramki from Sweden. Team India has to come out of 20-20 win and should show the performance out of their skins not chit - chatting on the groud. You talk when you play good cricket or else shut your mouth. Selectors are doing their best i guess. Our cricketers doesn't know basic things how to keep on rotating strike and tickle score board running. They just look for making 4s sixes to make some part of crowd happy but at the end of the day, indian pride is going to be sidelined. Being an indian, i don't accept it.. Be prepard for next two games and you must WIN!!!!!!!

Selectors, bunch of fat CATS!!!
by jamescunnin on Oct 12, 2007 05:44 PM  | Hide replies

TRuely, I just don't get it???!!! THese idiots form selection meetings at all the venues India play their games, attend the matches, sit in the VIp section with their expensive sunglasses and cell phones and do WHAT???? Bloody sorry for nothing free loaders! India team win the jump on the band wagon, India team lose they say people will be dropped and rotation. So far the only rotation I have seen is R Powar, poor bloke went from hero to zero in a mere few weeks! Also while getting the boot they told him he is fat, can't field, bat or ball and yet a few weeks before he was good enough for team India!!

i agree rotation should be there..
but whats the point of changing the 15 when first we dont imply rotation in playing 11..
we keep playing failures like dravid, uthapa and dont give chance to Badrinath or Rohit sharma who are already there in 15..even in bowling we keep playing same 5 bowlers who r big time losers..at least 3 of those 5 are..

Should adopt the Hockey theory to life!!! For every game India wins the selectors get a certain amount and for every game the India team losses they get deducted twice the AMOUNT !!! LOL!

Players having Childish attitude like Sreesanth are not required for the team. Sreesanth should mature. Show ur performance on the bowling and batting, not on the face...

Boss, he has flopped only in the last 4 innings, he will have to be given more time (as it was given to Sachin & Ganguly earlier). Ganguly isn't doing great either !!

Paul,
Dravid needs to be DROPPED immediately!
Dravid has made 73 run in the list 8 innings. His scores are as follows :1,24,4,0,31,0,13,0.

Ganguly's Scores in same period are far etter:39,72,9,59,53,15,41,0 .Besides ganguly has scored more than 1000 ODI runs this year since his comeback. So stop comparing Dravid to Ganguly as Dravid performance is not comparable .

We realize you are biased towards Dravid..hehe

Change the team Composition
by madhavan ramesh on Oct 12, 2007 01:00 PM

When you are playing India you have the option by giving chances to younger breed to get the match practice any how losing and winning doesn't matters. But in this series if you look into we have lost 3 matches win / loss is part of the sport why can't you make bench strength more stronger is my view.
If you go with senior of the team to go with Test Team and One day team with younger players
Like what we did in T20 world cup

hahahaha
we tried sachin at 4 in WC and u saw what happened..Uthapa is useless at the top....only time i have seen him get away with his bad technique is at no 6 or 7..he is just another dhoni type; no technique no footwork just swings the bat...good for 20-20 only...
there is nothing wrong in ganguly-sachin opening...the prob is 3-4-5...only yuvraj is fit for any of those 3 no.s
others have failed all the time...need to bring sehwag, kaif back and give rohit sharma/badrinath a chance at no 6..
