RE:Kartick is in?

how does karthik solve all the prob... he is one talentless player who has been given too many opportunities.... he tries to showoff some attitude and he defi cannot pull it off... all his neck(dog) belt and wrist band wearing antics make him look him a monkey... tht guy cannot even take wickets of tailenders if they dont attack him... wht a waste... infact they should have persisted with powar... tht guy bowled really well in the previous series infact he bowled so well tht ppl thought tht even harbhajan was overrated...

i don't agree with you... karthik did not get enough opportunities... he would play in one match bowled a decent spell.. then he wud be dropped...especially when saurav was captain..since he dislikes left arm spinners...he was always the scape goat.... look at his county record in england...in 2007 we was player of the series there...don't comment without knowing facts....

instead of being with Karthik, pray that he gets a chance in next two games. He's been chosen for 5th and 6th ODI only.
And for monkeys, if they can help India win the ODI's, hell, BCCI should look for 12 monkeys.

Where did you get Sehwag from. He is done with his cricketing career. Just a flash of luck for him and there is no genuine talent. Or may be the success went through his head just like Vinod Kambli, Sivaramakrishnan to name a few.
Now may be he can sit with Sivaramakrishnan and comment about how to play. When he played he never knew how to play and now he is the expert commentator. What a joke in Indian Cricket.

I find it really amusing and funny that people are considering 31 years as 'OLD', as far as i know, in every sports leave alone cricket that actually does not require prime fitness like soccer or hockey, 32-36 is considered the prime age when the skill set of a professional sports person really blossoms, look at Viv Richards, Gary Sobers, Kalicharan, Malcomm Marshall, Azharuddin they all played till atleast 36, so in that aspect Karthik ideally has about 4-5 years more ( hoping he would perform well). That means atleast 2-3 years for Golden quad of cricket, sachin, dravid, ganguly, lakshman. What the media forgets to see is the value of experience. I really find it absurd that people who have never even played first class cricket write shit about cricket and cricketers. I have read some interesting articles from Harish Kotian but sometimes he is over the top like most of his contemprories.

Experience matters, only if the "experienced" give 100%. From their body language in the field, i am not sure the "former captains" are giving 100% to their new captain. Keeping that in mind, i am sure, india will perform better as a team without the former captains. If India looses next game also, i will say, bring the 20/20 ( minus Joginder Sharma) team and let them play the remaining matches and see the difference(if any)

I think Dinesh Kartik is a good choice in the place of Dravid. Because Rahul is not in good form.

ya correctly said but at 6 dinesh kartikis very good.it was dravid who made him at no 3 during England series and spoiled his life when he was comfortable at no 6
Do the selectors and the captain have the guts to rest (or drop, however u call it) Dravid on the basis of his performance and give Dinesh Karthick another chance to prove his mettle? It's understood anyway that, young Rohit would pave way for Ganguly to take his place. Hence, my team will be,
Sreesanth has proved too expensive and Ganguly could double up as third seamer. Pathan if given a chance would try to do well to regain his place as a opening bowler. Sachin and Yuvi give other bowling options as well.

Suspend our indian team atleast for 5 years and ask our seniour players to join politics and the junior players should learn how to play. Don"t give them any money during this period. Utilize the money BCCI having to create infrastructure (sports) in schools and colleges and get a new talent. girish
