WHY YOU FOOL. WHEN HE IS RETAINED BY A FOREIGN TEAM FOR THE EXCELLENT BOWLING WHY SHOULDN'T HE BE INCLUDED IN THE INDIAN TEAM?IS GANGULY,SACHIN AND DRAVID YOUNGER THAN MURALI? ONLY BECAUSE OF FOOLS LIKE YOU IN THE SELECTION COMMITEE WAS HE DROPPED. DON'T IMAGINE LIKE A DUD.

Sorry to tell, he is not becasue of his skills every one know, His Granfather AC.Muthiah Is the EX-BCCI president... So.... Now you can Judge....Please mankiam cool, Y badrinath even he is playing good... not gettinmg chance....Its similar case like ganguly.. politics recom media..

hey u fool, dont talk abt a foreign team retaining Karthick, if that's the case let him be there only, what are you going to gain by picking a bowler who has been given so many chances and then now picking him when he is 31...it's rather foolish selectors like you who just are upto short term thinking

india is not dominating with their opening pairs.tendulkar is slow and gambhir is useless. we need sewag to blasting start to reduce the confidence levels of aussies.our middle order is good.if it is even with sachin and sourav the middle looks explosive than the opening

Why Ganguly ,the highest scorer of Indian team in 2007 with average of 50plus in 2007 ,was dropped.

BCCI is doing far worse politics than even britsh did to Indians. Bongs have given so much of blood for the freedom of this nation..now ,this country is Full of corrupt and Gaddars.. people in BCCI,is just an example !!!!! See how they have treated the best Captain ,just because he is bong !!!!! You have to fight BCCI and the Bong haters ,far more intensively than you guys fought for Indias independence. All the corrupt politicians and businessman are prospering in India at the cost of honest and those fredom fighters who laid down their life for the good of this country.
The selectors also named the squad for the Twenty20 match against Australia at the CCI in Mumbai on "October 2000". The World Cup-winning squad has been retained except for Chawla.
Winning a series against Australia and giving a chance to youngsters are both contradictory. While opening against their attack, maintaining a decent run rate without loosing wickets need a technical punch. This is gained by experience only. Ganguly and Sachin have developed this over the years and have been successful over majority of opponents. If the intention is to WIN THE SERIES that can be exploited here.
Well new youngsters in the bowling side sometimes may help; because they are unanalyzed.e. g. Narendra Hirwani against West Indies in 1988, Bhajji against AUS in 2001,Latish malinga( SL)
Selectors could have thought of P. Ojha as a surprise.
Murali Karthik would have never expected this. He was now a commentator in Private Cricket TV channel telecasting this series. Badrinath must have been selected. Atleast in next ODI Sachin and Saurav should open to give us a great start.

Just compare dinesh karthik's batting average with dravid and comment my friend. Karthik is a good actor in field. He dives unnecessarily in field. He acts everthing to keep in place in team.

dinesh kartik is a monkey in the field, even for easy catch he dives a creats a illusion of gud fielding, monkey is a better replace to HIm..
Just wondering why did you target TN player like Murali Kartik by saying you are wondering against the fact he is 31? Are you aware of the ages of Mathew Hayden, Hussey, SideBottom?? Can't just understand why the talent is under-rated by these kinda factors? Zaheer also took a 9-for in a county match and got into team obviously Kartik should get a look not much of a age difference between both.. What Gambhir scored in recent matches? y not Sehwag / Dinesh Karthik? What powar did to deserve a chance in future in this series?
I dont think media should make a mess on players like these. Will anyone not agree on the fact that Agarkar is a wicket taking bowler? Yes he concedes runs but still better than likes of people who does bowl full quota of overs for no wicket..
