I strongly believe that Anil kumble should turn down his captaincy. In the sub continent great players are offered captaincy and ultimately made jokers. Let it be sachin, dada, inzi or dravid. Anil kumble in his evening of cricket career should exit with what name and fame what he has now. If the team does not perform well ultimately stupid selectors blame captains and make them monkeys. Look at sachin he backed out of captaincy, why? he doesnt want to end his career in a bad shape. I think Anil Kumbles fate will surely becomes like Rahul and Dada. The BCCI and Selectors are no way held responsible and captains are made scape goats. Board should complement captains and provide with the best players and best facilities.I dont know how far MS Dhoni will remain in this current slot.

U are right buddy...but some way we Indians are also responsible to hype the good performers and insult the bad performers.....
OFCOURSE ANIL KUMBLE WILL BE A GOOD CAPTAIN. WITH SACHIN, DRAVID, GANGULY AND DINESH KARTHIK IN THE SIDE, KUMBLE WILL BE ABLE TO RUN THE SHOW SUCCESSFULLY, IF NO OTHER POLITICAL OR REGIONAL INTERVENTION IS NOT DONE. LIKE THE GREAT DRAVID, KUMBLE IS A GENTLEMAN AND HE IS A TEAM MEMBER AND HE WILL NOT PLAY FOR PERSONAL MILESTONE. HE IS STILL ENERGETIC AND VERY ENTHUSIASTIC PLAYER. I FEEL HE WILL HAVE GREAT RESPECT FROM THE ENTIRE TEAM. BUT THESE CAN BE VANISHED IF SELECTORS, POLITICIANS OR SENIOR PLAYERS TRY TO IMPOSE SOMETHING ON HIM. ALL THE BEST TO ANIL KUMBLE, WHO IS AN UNSELFISH PLAYER LIKE THE GREAT RAHUL DRAVID.
Kumble, Tendulkar, Ganguli, Dravid or Dhoni any body can be a good captain provided there should be no interference of Political Leaders as well as Senior Players in or between the matches they can give their suggestions but should not impose it on Captain. Players are good but they are fed up of this interference & because of that they can not concentrate.
Yuvraj on current form should play in test matches. The options we have is to choose between Dravid Ganguly Laxman and Yuvraj%u2026we cant play four of them so we need to play 3 on current form.

Well looking at these series averages tells us about the current form of these three and clearly Dravid should make way for Yuvraj.He cant wait when he is such a teriffic form.

In Test cricket Dravid is far better than other three mentioned. When ball is rising abmormally Ganguly has problems. When ball is swinging Yuvraj becomes helpless. Yuvraj has to be more consistent in one day itself. Now with all the form he is playing one inning in three or four matches. And test cricket is different ball game . Even Ganuly is far better than Yuvraj.
Anil might or may not be a good captain but he deserves the captaincy more than others. Sachin did not have guts to take the captaincy he just wants to concentrate on his batting and staying in the team. Kumble has won so many matches for India but only batsmen get credit. It%u2019s a great move to make him captain .
