I have a feeling he will score a 200 tomorrow. Ofcourse, the Mr Dependable, Dhoni will help India get a 700 in the 1st innings. Way to go India. Good-luck Dhoni
India should not get carried away by this performance!! Aus would have got 400, maybe 450 in one day against this mediocre Bangla attack. I still feel we are not playing with our best 11!! The best 11 will always have Laxman and Yuvraj!! And neways, against Harmison, Hoggard you will always need Laxman and Yuvraj! Cheers!!

yes but on a good batting track like this, u need 5 bowlers to get 20 wickets and win the game. wats the point of having 7 batsman and only 3 bowlers? some wont even bat cos they will get to 600 and declare, and then they have no use! 5 bowlers is needed on these lifeless tracks to get 20 wickets. also, you say aussies would have got 400? 1. how do u knw? 2. how about last year when bangladesh got 350 on first day VS AUSSIES??
whatever the india team does is turned into a negative by all u radical fans. show a little understanding for once. btw if u want proof of bangladesh scoring 350 in first day - http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/bdeshvaus/content/story/243722.html

Yes appreciate the good and it does no good to be critical all of the time. This is no mean achievement. Cricket is also a mind game and India wishes to ensure that they dont succumb to Bangladesh and maybe playing a little cautiously but we are in that position. Unlike the one dayers the tests is a different other approach where a long innings can be grafted and much more difficult. It requires huge concentration and skill and with the intense heat. Just think we can all be critical its easy in the comfort of our living room but be gracious please and try and understand the game which is not just slog.

yeah India is not at its best, see england made 366/5 in 85.0 overs which means even after losing 5 wickets england maintained better run rate of 4.31 compared to 3.62 by india! Moreover, England is playing with WI which have far better bowling attack than bangladesh!!
Indian team discovered more new record categories to boost player's moral: 1)Maximum number of balls faced by a batsman before getting out. 2)Maximum number of steps taken in a run-up for a fast bowler. 3)maximum number of steps taken in running between the wickets for a batsman. 4)maximum number of times a wicketkeeper sits and stands up while keeping wickets. 5)maximum number of time a fielder stretches his arm and leg.

Very good sence of records. Have more matches with Bangla and Ireland Keneya and please get some more countries to play your great Sachin will have them all
two 0's in 1st match.. now two 0's after a 1 i.e a century.. this guy deserves it.. played fantastic.. treat to watch.. elegant.. mumbai ishtyle..keep rocking..
The article says Sachin must be delighted to get on dream batting pitch. But whoever saw Sachin's patchy performance for 1hr will know what is his status now. Our dependable percntage batsman Dravid scored freely but Sachin was at sea with Mortaza and even Rafique dada.In about 50runs partnership he could score just 9.How Mortaza could torment him shows why he baggeed the slot in Asia cup team. In last test he scored scraggy century and not his admirer can say it was fluent. Well he may not have to prove anything after playing 17years but class shows when you are in most troubled situation. World's best batsman couldnt score more than 20runs in second inings and India was 100/8. Lust of maney and fame can never make him to think retire gracefully

hey Purshottam get your facts right He was highest scorer in both innings. (Scoring more than 25% in first innings and 30% in second innings) India 100/6 means no body scored and the situation demanded them to go for runs
and for scoring 9 runs in one hour, lets wait for tomm. and then comment.

great, the great Sachin Tendulkar is being hailed for performances against Bangladesh. Even club teams in Dadar and Borivali will bowl better than this Bangladesh attack but our "master blaster" is all at sea. In crucial matches in the World Cup and prior to that in sensitive matches or against big opposition, Sachin was returning to the pavillion at the earliest with his tail tucked between his legs. What a great player! Who wants centuries against Bangladesh or Kenya or in dead matches? Like the typical Bombay players, Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri, Tendulkar also certainly plays for records only, a point made by the Aussies. But, unlike Gavaskar or Shastri, Tendulkar is a decent guy and does not indulge in narrow regional politics.

Yes, upto some extent, I think he should himself take a break (by getting permission and convincing his sponsors) and use that time to see his mistakes in batting techniques in past 2 yr video
This is the only way he can save his reputation, he is a genious and should not compromise with his standard of play, if not he must quit the game

KC good that u speak out.People here are too highly opiniated and love Sachin bashing. He is the best at present and also the best that India ever produced. We are too miserly in showing respect to such a great entertainer and such a fine player and human being.

to sabteam, dravid did not fail in both innings. he made a half century in first one. and for blaming dravid, WHY DONT WE JUST BLAME NO ONE?? why do u all have to find a scapegoat and blame someone for everything?? jeez just watch the game peacefully man
RE:Is Sachin era over?

Purushottham..
At the time Sachin came to crease Dravid is well settled. from 81st over BANG opted for new ball and they decided to not lose wicket yesterday. at the end of days play nobody wants to score or lose the wicket.. FYI: 1. Karthik took 75 balls to reach 17 runs. 2. Sachin scored 31 runs in second innings and India is 100/6 not 100/8. He is the highest scorer in indian innings as DRavid is out for 2.
Pls check the facts and stop criticizing with sachin. why dont u blame dravid he didn't score in both innings. Yesterday Jaffer took 185 balls to reach 100 as sachin 20 balls lesser, what do u say?
MS Dhoni scored 0s against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in WC, where it mattered most. He is basically a rural boy without any temperament for big stage. Who cares about his big scores against these 2 teams in ODI & Test series? He certainly doesn't have the temperament of a Tendulkar or Ganguly or Dravid.

how much was scored by tendulkar against the same team..what about that ..........what do u mean by rural boy ..do u know any thing about him .........he is in team because he deserve it ..........may be he is not as good as tendulkar or ganguly or dravid but he has the temperament for so called big stage and he is proving it
RE:Dhoni is a big 0.

Rajiv,
Let him prove in Engalnd, NZ, AUS.. we what wonders he did in SA and WI. He is good player in sub continent. But i am not sure abt that also we lost a match against Srilanka b4 WC bcos of Dhoni and Karthik.. when india need 10 overs 30 runs odd with 5 wickets in Hand ..still India lost it.. and as natural everyone goes after Sachin bcos he was out at 60's didn't played until the end of innings.. but these 2 escapes.

Sure, he is a rural-boy, but what the heck has that got to do with anything? There is more rural cricket talent in India that you can every imagine (especially bowling) If given the opportunity, many of them can emerge as the next champions.
And yes, sure, he does not have the temperament of Dravid, Ganguly, Tendlulkar but those guys have played international cricket for 10 years more than him.
Besides, he looks much more confident than Tendulkar and Ganguly put together!
I would rather select a young-player with talent and confidence than an old player past his prime with temperament.
What the hell are you talking about Charu? And whay the hell am I replying to your stupid post?!
