This is the direct impact of the idiotic decision to 'Rest' Sachin & Ganguly. When you take out the charm from Team, how can you expect people to come to watch novices? Such poor sales of Ticket would or may teach the BCCI a hard lesson to learn.
However, since the BCCI wants to encourage B'desh by letting them win by dropping important players and selecting mostly novices, the attendance may improve from 2nd ODI onwards, as the home team is destined to win.
Quite natural. There is no reason to lament over the lack of demand for ticket. After India's pathetic show in world cup where our team lost even to Bangaldesh , how can there be demand for tickets , specially when the matches will be played in the torrid heat of May.

Dude, have pride in what has become a tradition for India. What you like is your choice but don't say everybody should like football. I like both cricket and football. They are not exclusive. In US everybody likes American football (not the football yo are talking about) and nobody else in the world plays that game. But they don't care. India is on a fast track to become an economic power. So think like one. Take pride in whatever you do. If cricket is our passion, let nobody else like it. We don't have to give a damn.
Who is intrested in indian cricket, let us all getogether and give importance to other games like football, hockey, volleyball atletics etc, where i am sure the players in this particular field will be competetive enough and will not not dissappoint us.

I am a little surprised that there are no takers for the ODI tickets. At least those who want to know how not to play cricket should buy and should not let go this oppurtunity.

You would think that with Bangladesh's recent World Cup performance, people in Bangla would be interested to see and support Bangla thrash India again - guess the heat is a big factor and may be the price of tickets too.

Have you ever picked up a cricket bat in your life...or have only played pocket billiards with your balls...
