He is not a bookie. What he is saying makes what is called common sense. India loses the first match, the Bongladeshis come pouring into the stadium in hordes for the next match, where they get thrashed. That sets up an interesting final, which India wins. The fans are happy, the players' 'reputations' are salvaged, and the boards make tons of money...

Another scenario, to keep with the 'revenge' theme, we win the first one in a close match, and then the other two as mentioned earlier - mebbe the first or second one is a tie.

2 MINNOWS PLAYING
by Umair Siddiqui on May 08, 2007 02:14 PM

That's because ppl have realised that -
2 MINNOWS R PLAYING. There would be same response on television as well.....
What to look for - India winning Bangla cup after shameful defeat in the WC. Atleast Indian's standard is not that low as Indian Cricket's.....

Yup yup, I guess the ticket price should have matched WC rates and poor Bangla people couldn't afford and rich Indian not interested in this series and with our players.
Hope India do better and raise little hope among the indians.

Worse days for indian cricket that we 'r so afraid of bangladesh & need to prepare so much for bangladeshis. I think our players will pissoff in front of australia if the situation doesn't change soon.
