It is comical to see SOME nutty readers so quick to point out the flaws and reasons for India's inability to send England packing today. I am sure the same guys would have blamed Greg Chappell had he still been the coach. The comments would have gone thus: " What is this gora doing? Why didn't he include Powar?" " What the hell was Greg thinking in not selecting Yuvraj" " Dada took the very first wicket, I hope Greg is taking notice" etc, etc etc :-)

babi ati, Now it's not only sachin , Yuvraj or ganguly. Irfan pathan has also joined the same race, go read his interview in TOI, Greg and his ch-amcha Frazer didn't help him at all. rather than licking Greg's a-ss, go for a reality check or may be a psycho check :) good luck.
It seems like the pitch is more suiting for Ganguly's bowling. Afterall he has some experience playing there for county sides. Also he has come good by taking a wicket and giving a good contest to the English batsmen. But still he was just given 9 overs!!!
well i was there watching it and we lacked even putting upa good fight..thank goodness we picked up 2 wickets in the end.the play stopped twice due to the good english weather

I watched the game. It looks like India is in for more severe drubbing than the WI were earlier this summer. The pace bowlers are not good enough to run through a side on a good batting surface. Sreenath is much hyped and acts more like a dancer than a cricketer. RP Singh is useless, he sprays the ball all around and bowls consistently short at 128-132kph. Zaheer should be dropped, he just cant seem to get it right. Indian pace bowling department has quantity but no quality.

are you dreaming? Even if they get KP out, there are still other batsmen like Bell and Matt Prior (who scored heavily against WI). Indian pace bowling trio of Zaheer, Sreesanth and RP Singh cant even get a club team out twice, leave alone an international side. Unless they produce 2 genuine quick bowlers who can take wickets against any team on any surface, they cant win.

do u know when u said in a that actually doesn't make sense, that is spelt like this:is'nt,okay!!!!!!!!!
Indians have started very poorly. This is nothing new to any Indian cricket fan.
If Indians have to get back into this test match, they need to bowl accurately and steadily. They need to use Tendulkar more often and bowl the faster bowlers in short spells. It was evident that faster bowlers were getting wayward after bowling for half hour or so. Kumble should be used extensively as he has already been.
Have the selectors lost their mind? The team selection defies logic as Yuvraj, the matchwinner against South Africa is not even included in the team. I understand the team management is in the controls of Mumbaikars but including a complete failure like Jaffer in the team at the expense of Yuvraj is stupidity. I hope Laxman proves himself in this series. He is a talented batsman. The Indian bowling has no penetration. Why did they leave Harbhajan out? I hope these Mumbaikars are reading these comments .. for the sake of Indian Cricket!!!
