These straying bowlers don't have the big match temperament and their nerves controlled their hands! Imagine spraying the ball; and going for the pads. Kevi will surely take full advantage and pulverize these poor wayward bowlers!
Except for your Kumble, all the others seem to be novices to the game, at least today!
I don't see the tourney any different from the one against West Indies. Agreed that you guys have some great batsman, but you have to clean-up 20 wickets to win, and you don't have the ammunition. With a depleted armory and no re-enforcement in view, it looks like the battle is already lost.
Another thing, you guys don't have that killer instinct. Like the Aussies. When things are not going good, your shoulders stoop; including your cap, so where is the positive moral spirit?
Anyway, make the most of your weaknesses in bowling; and hope someone comes up with a sterling performance - through skills or sheer luck!

The person who wrote this seems to be a rascal. After all, only his consious will tell him what Sachin is. He is the master and the blaster too. No doubt about this.

Sachin can bowl 40 over in test match, also he can capable take 5 to 6 wickets and make DOUBLE CENTURY too......

He only bowled 2 overs, come on. Instead of critizing other bowlers you are writing about sachin. So congratulation you win "Sachin Haters" award today. By the way Sachin have more than 300 crore rupees, if that helps you.

First correct your English. You meant "He is too old to play good cricket now". If you can not write 2 sentences without making mistakes, just shut up!

and swamy u resemble the street pickpocket we caught in the Mumbai bus the other day...we also called him an as**ole
Indian bowlers have always had problem against left-handed batsman. Why wouldn't somebody in the coaching department emphasize on this area. First of all, all the bowlers should be forced to practice around-the-wicket for left-handed batsmen. I am sure there are other techniques, and somebody should point this out.
RE:Left handed batsman ...
by Mahesh Dave on Jul 20, 2007 05:24 AM
Indian bowlers does NOT have problem against ONLY left-handed batsman.....our bowlers have a problem against every world-class batsman......... Reason.....OUR BOWLERS ARE AVERAGE BOWLERS... What you can expect???????????????????
India's bowling has been mediocre today with all of them spraying down the legside. Strauss and Cook are all very strong in that area and some very sloppy fielding. The catch dropped by Karthik was a very straight forward and easy one. The did not have a game plan to get Strauss out soon, who has been under so much pressure recently to get some runs. Instead our bowlers have helped him get back in form. As Geoffrey commented Indians tend to leave their brains back home when they travel.India had a real chance to win this test knwoing that the English bowling is very inexperienced but our bowlers blew away that chance.
How long do we need to bother this fellow......he is utterly bad captain....suffering from zealousy...even gangul was doing well he did not allow him more than 9overs......
RE:Dravid please take rest and give us rest as well!

If Dravid has one strike bowler, only one, like Murali, Warne or McGrath we wouldn't be having this discussion. There is no penetration in our bowling - period.
RE:Dravid please take rest and give us rest as well!
by Hemal Patel on Jul 20, 2007 05:22 AM
Why can't we have one bowler to bowl over 100 miles why? why? why?
RE:Dravid please take rest and give us rest as well!
by Mature Stud on Jul 20, 2007 09:11 AM
Hemal because we have dravids and pawars and shahs in our helm of affiars...so agarkars and kumbles and all the other kars and 2nd grade idlis keep getting chances. Never will it develop...now look at our president...what congress has done...pawar is excongress right?
I think what our bowling needs badly, right now, is some speed and experience and Ajit Agarkar is the man for it!! It was a huge folly to leave out world class spinner Harbhajan Singh and then leave out experienced Ajit Agarkar!! This bowling attack, sans Zaheer, is for a leather hunt the whole series!! Also, today our fielding was atrocious with many efforts being substandard and not 100% effort at all!! Culprits being Tendulkar(boundary to Vaughan), Zaheer Khan, Sreesanth and Kumble!! Also, Karthick drops an absolute sitter, what was he doing?? Dreaming??
If Harbhajan and Ajit are called, not only will it improve the bowling, it will also improve fielding as both are fascinating in the field!!
RE:It is time to call up Ajit Agarkar!!
by Jayanth Shah on Jul 20, 2007 04:17 AM
a few months ago, everyone was sayin that harbhajan should be thrown out, cos he wasnt bowling well. just because others arent doing wel, u shift the blame onto them, and then u want bhajji in the team again. if he does come bak and perform badly, u will say selectors made the wrong choice

Jadeja name suggests Gujju kings(Kshtriya}. I have seen one such royal house in Limdi Gujrat.

More from Maratha family in Baroda. He was good Wicket Keeper. Fighting tailender.
Indian Team player never give their 100%.... If something not working then they always give up...... they must fight back.... instead of blaming condition and give some stupid excuse.... I feel Dravid is not good captain... he looks so down... how he can bring tema moral up? He must take decision fast...and right...No Coach will help........ Player must give their 100% and take resposibility.....Pl learn from ur mistake....... its ok 1 or 2 times.... now it alwyas....common mistake...... pick up right team for match depend on pitch and weather condition.....

ya..but first of all the team selection is not at all good... i dont find any reason why AGARKAR has been left out today.. he has done so well in the past.. also he would be a nice batsman at the end also.. HOPEFULLY, THIS MATCH WILL END IN A DRAW,only id INDIANS play some poor cricket,as they did in SOUTH AFRICA, winning the first match and then going on to lose the SERIES

If you guys remember the famous last test victory against Aussies in Australia it was the magical spell that was produced by Agarkar in the Aussies second innings which sent half of the mighty Australian team back to pavillion to make Indias target possible which thanks to the same Dravid, whom you guys all are abusing today, we could achieve the target and registered a historic win.
