I respect kaif as a good fielder,but in one day cricket you got to have good batting skills which kaif is devoid of.Other than the square cut and pull shot,he does not have any other valid shots in his bag . He is not even a good striker like Yuvraj and lacks strength too.I think Kaif should be content playing domestic cricket.
Also you are used to perform bad.How many chances do you want.This is also correct that some of our players getting chances even though they perform badly.Just show your good performance,work hard,Indians always support you.
Kaif got most of the opportunities that were ever given to a cricketer after Parthiv Patel to prove his mettle. He failed miserably and to see some one say some thing like this... I am stunned. I cannot recall a great inning from him that won a match in the recent past (from 2004). So, How can he say that he got used to getting dropped.
Kaif has not enough talent of playing in Indian cricket team. He can contribute only by his batting.which he is doing very badly at the moment.Don't consider his good fielding because a player should be able bat or ball . Fielding is just an added advantage. Kaif scored with an avg of around 30-32 in one day matches in his 125 matches. which is just an ordinary average. His strike rate is also 70 . which is not healthy for 5th no batsman.I don't rate him as a recognised batsman. Overall kaif has not enough potential to play.
