Injustice to Kaif...always
by Meraj Ahmed on Jan 15, 2007 01:15 PM

Dear Kaif,
It's indeed great that you have such a strong will power. The team management and selectors have left no stone in making you demoralised whenever they have got chance. You have played some outstanding innings and yet find yourselves out of the team because some big "godfather's" son was to be adjusted. If anybody else would have played an inning the one you played in netwest final, he would have become an eternal hero and his one-drop batting order would have been fixed forever. But you throughout your career had been sent at no. 7, where you just get 5-10 overs which only spoil your average.

Another thing which always amazes me is that why you have never been given a single over to bowl in international cricket. you took so may wickets in under-19worldcup in Srilanka and yet neither Ganguly nor Dravid have ever used you as a bowler. You are a silent player...unlike others who before match shows their wills to the media that I will love to bat at no. this and this. Then Kaif why these UP board walas never speak anything about the injustice being done to you every now and then. I congratulate Mr. Kotian to at least write something on you. What i feel that entire media is biased.
I really hate the system and feel very bad.
But I am happy Kaif that you have got such a big heart. Keep it up my dear. These jokers will definitely stop their nonsense things someday!!!

Dear Shah Khan, this is rubbish you said about quota. You should be brave, should not lose your heart any time. Kaif is good player, he can get runs and he did so in the sereis before the south Africa tour. In South Africa all big guns Dravid, Sachin and every one were a big fail. But it is unfortunate that axe fell on kaif. It is Sehwag who should have been dropped before the SouthAfrica tour, he is the one who was underperfoming all the time. I dont know what sehwag has done for the team in last 1 year. NOTHING!!.

Dear Mirza,
You are right on spot! Yes every one who follows cricket would agree with you on Sehwag. The poor selectors had to first remove him from the vice capatancy and then from the team. But at the end well done.

I think Kaif is an important player for India in the world cup similar to Jonty Rhodes. But he need to improve his batting. He lacks the ability to clear the boundary comfortably. But he is able to build up partnerships with players like Yuvraj.Considering his fielding, running between wickets and experience he must be included in the WC squad
