Rahul is so hot on how he is his own man and takes his own decisions,but isn't he supposed to listen to the coach who can take cool decisions? and if Rahul messes up ,he should take the blame instead of lamblasting poor Chetan Dessai !!
i think he is gud player nd doing not bad as captain as well. but these wrds abt desai are unnecesarry and its been unlike rahuls charac we know all these days. the world cup count down had started and i do think we should stop talking abt " who should be the captain of india team" rather than support the team for a successfull run in world cup. all the v best team india
the time is knocking at the door. if india want to win the world cup. please, please...please.. repalce dravid as captain and give captaincy to greater ganguli.

The media is being unfair towards Rahul Losing a match will definitly draw criticism Even ind lost many series under ganguly ;s captaincy but he did not resign he nejopyed captaincy b%u2019cuz his mentor dalmiay ahd the power in bcci his success as captain is b%u2019cuz of contributions of dravid laxman, kumble and sachin and In WC it was sachin who won match against Pakistan to take team to semis but nobody remembers his effort. Ganguly took the credit as successful captain but dravid shared the success with other players and he accepted defeat on his responsibility in front of media. When ganguly was captain if team was defeated dravid used press briefs as VC. And dravid shares dies with other players when ind won match. Dravid only captain for 16 months How much success ganguly got in first 16 months of his captaincy?? Ganguly would be nothing if it were not Dravid and Laxman that not only saved us from embrassment but also earned accolades for India when they played against Australia. And in Pakistan ind won sereies when dravid was captain, ganguly was not part of playing eleven. Ganguly made dravid as wkt keeper tosort out his batting order in team when sewag started as opener. dravid was of odi team and called back after good performance in domestic perforance and he was highest run scoreer in1999 WC 461 runs.
Very good Dravid. Just comment on the other official like Sharad Pawar, Shukla, Niranjan Shah etc. You do not have guts to talk about them. Shame on you
Dravid has done the right thing. A captain has to stand by his players during times of crisis and Dravid has done it time and again. The media is to blame for the cricket tamahsa they create by bringing all and sundry as "experts" to comment. Even DD is guilty of this -"aapko kya lagta hai.. blah blah blah" - what the heck! Who cares kisko kya lagta hai. Mixing Sports and Politics results in situations like these..
If dravid has this opinion about chetan desai then in that case even Mr sharad Pawar's name wont figure in the history of any game that means he is not bothered about what the BCCI president says. I think this is sheer arrogance at its highest level. Secondly i dont know why Dravid is covering for shewag every time there are other batsman who can do better than shewag. Shewag has taken his place for granted and should be thought a lesson. We should have seletion policies like the Australian ie Performance only and nothing else. When australia can drop players like steve waugh, mark waugh and Micheal Bevan. we can drop shewag.
Dravid "slow and steady wins the race" is a ancient saying which does not work out in the ultra modern society.So forget to play slowly and smash the boundaries and prove yourself that you can also help audiance to take the catch of sixers and umpire to raise both hands. come on Dravid................ chetan has reported about indicipline action of shewag, for that dravid is answering he is not prominent person in cricketing history chetan didn't tallk of any tech. prob. and he can also because he had the authority captain no need to answer to team management (manager)!!!!! strange from dravid answer it seems he had no answer
My choice is Saurav Ganguly is the best captain for the ensuing World Cup. He is a gutsy player. He has ability to convince each and every player. He has the matured temperament. How can you forget MS Dhoni ?. I feel he should be the wicket keeper and Sreesanth should be removed
