Its all about Inspiration now.

The Indians should draw their inspiration from what the West Indies have done recently in South Africa. That is the only thing that would help them in proving their true mettle against the Aussies.

Finally team India Summoed Mohammed Kaif for the remaining 3 tests in Australia. This should have done before hand atleast we would have saved Melbourne Test.

He did say during the " walk the talk " interview, that the famed Indian batsman will struggle in Australia. But we still have chance to prove him wrong.

Plan for Morale boosting Series only
by akumar on Dec 30, 2007 07:57 PM  | Hide replies

BCCI should for the next tree years plan for playing at home and abroad against Zimbabwe, bangladesh ,Kenya and Scotland. This will not only help boost the morale but help the oldie build up records od centuries which no other players in the ICC can match. The present sries in Australi and the triangular one dayers to follow will sap the morale and people will lose interest in Cricket at home.

NDIANS PLAYED A THIRD RUNG PAKISTANI ATTACK ON READY-TO-GROW-CORN WICKETS..
HAD THEY PLAYED AGAINST THEIR SECOND RUNG ATTACK THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN MURDERED...
NOW THEY ARE PLAYING THE FIRST RUNG AUSSIE BOWLING, HOW CAN YOU EXPECT THEM TO MAKE IT INTO THE FOURTH DAY..

PS: PONTING'S DECLARATION (GET 500 IN TWO AND A HALF DAYS)SHOULD SERVE AS AN EYE OPENER TO THE OLD KUMBLE. HE GIVES TEAMS 400 TO SCORE IN 40 OVERS!!

Running between the wickets ( wickeds )
by Murly Iyer on Dec 30, 2007 07:42 PM  | Hide replies

While batting our oldies were converting the threes to twos, the twos into one, the ones into zeros and one was wondering if we were seeing a bean stalk field waving.

We need to understand that, Hussey / Hayden / Ponting / Gilchrist / Hogg are no younger than our seniors and running on the same track.

What make the difference is that an Aussie feels more hurted than our seniors, when there is a failure.

Incidentlly, many from the team never learn till retirement, but they start teaching after retirement. Great surprise

Did anyone see how Ganguly used to ground his bat in the second innings. Shame on him. After playing international cricket for so many years (like donkey), this stupid doesnt know the basics.

I guess Indians, having played recently in India, were trying to score all their runs in boundaries. Probably they should have realized that Aus grounds are not as fast as Indian. Running bet wkts has never been the forte of us Indians. Heck, they wont attempt a third run in one dayers, so there is no way they are doing it in tests. If you happen to see the match, most of their shots found fielders which would have otherwise gone for four if any other team would be playing against us. So, those were the only scoring opportunities but with no avail. And that was that. We never tried to force singles, got bogged down. I wonder if they are ever going to learn. I believe never.

AUSSIES DO NOT HAVE STRATEGIES FOR GREAT DADA
by Cool Guy on Dec 30, 2007 07:32 PM  | Hide replies

Aussies do not make strategies for Dada because they know he is a weak link in the team and scores on only dead pitches in India. Whenever they bowl a bouncer he ducks & throws away his wicket.

Even in the nets, they only " SEE " the rising ball go past them and dont " PLAY " it hence they continue failing

Playing in the desert
by Murly Iyer on Dec 30, 2007 07:25 PM  | Hide replies

When we toured England, we were told to beware of swing, when we tour W. Indies or Australia or S Africa, we were told to beware of fast and bouncy tracks. The only place we are not cautioned about is the sub continent Asian Giants. Bangla desh / Pakistan / Sri Lanka or at home ( all spinning tracks where winning is as easy as eating a cake, provided our batsman score runs.

Surprisingly, the same set of seniors play on all types of tracks around the world and fails where necessary.Ten years later four are called legends instead of the only one -- Tendulkar.

Hayden / Gayle / Chandrapaul / Ponting / Unheard Jaques / and many others consistently suceed by default, because Indians don't do any planning for any batsman, else these guys can't suceed consistently.

Tonnes of records are created and particularly debutants score hundreds mostly against India.

It is better we start practicing in the desert, because that is the only unknown track, whose behavior we don't know.
