I am happy. The bunch of "JOKERS" has been given a lesson. Greg Chappel was talking through his hat.

we have been had !!

team chappal & the media has hyped up the performance of the team for 1 year.

1st we beat sri lanka at home - cos SL threw away most matches. then in pakistan (sans akhtar, sami & kaneria) we played on pitches dead-er than indian ones.

we played south africa (at home), without gibbs (we know what damage he can do singlehandedly) & barely managed to tie the series. then a 2nd string england team under hot indian sun (to which we are a lot more suited).

meanwhile we got hammered in tests both in india & away - the same team which till a year back used to win everywhere.

but chappal & More had us believe that we were the next dream team. that venogopal would fill ganguly's shoes, that dhoni was the next gilchrist, raina was a bevan in the making.

this windies trip burst the bubble. pathan at 1 down is a joke. raina isnt the same outside subcontinent. dhoni is no gilchrist.

kiran more is a madman & chappal a tyrant. dravid isnt half the leader of men, ganguly was. he doesnt stand up for his men, & does everything to keep chappal happy. the boys play under chappal with no one to defend them. something had to give.

we must kick chappal out.

TIME TO GET GANGULY BACK AS CAPTAIN

poor performance

this was a disgraceful performance where india could not even defeat a team that was lowly ranked. We cannot blame Greg Chappell it is the player's egos that cost the team the series. In order to be a winning combination like Australia every player has to display team effort and not individual performances. Sachin Tendulkar I believe is one of them, he is not a team player. I do admit that he has broken many records but I have never seen him play an innings when India really needed it. Rahul Dravid on the other hand has the right idea but needs to instill the same spirit into the rest of the team. Sreesanth do not worry about aggression since you do not have any as you get hit for a six by Chris Gayle, eat non vegetarian and build muscles versus idli and dosa that will not help you with your physical training.

You are right Sid, India needs some more players like Yuvraj Singh who always plays for the victory of team and never thinks of personal acheivements. He is the only player in our team who always fight the best for the victory of team.

Sourav's comeback
by Dhruba Kundu on May 27, 2006 05:03 PM

I think its time to call Sourav, because its a warning as to why Team India needs a captain of his experience and skills. Don't forget the World Cup venue next year is the same place and we don't look forward to a repetition. So lets hope for Sourav's comeback and fingers crossed.

This team winning the World cup, give me a break. I would call this as the over hyped team.
