Tendulkar, who is he/ I have just forgotten him. Yes, now I remember. He is the same guy got maximum injuries instead of runs.

Wish him all the best in the Lankan encounter. Also wish him best of luck in the Ad world.

u seem to forget everything.
tendulkar is not a man who sleeps every day and night.
even when there are no matches he dosent waste time gazing around (as u seem to do) , and it is quite natural for anybody who uses a heavy bat and practices all day to get an injury.

u better shut your mouth and everything and forget everything.

Let me remind u of who Tendulkar is. Tendulkar is that batsman from india who is regarded as the greatest batsman to ever walk on a cricket field by almost 99.99% of both the ex-cricketers and current cricketers. He is the only player in history who is given the honour of being compared with Sir Donald Bradman, that makes him unique. Also, he is the player who have the highest number of Test as well as ODI centuries in the whole world, not just India but the whole world !! Also, he is the leading run scorer in ODI cricketing history. That makes him extaordinary and unique, and that's why he is regarded by WISDEN as the 2nd greatest batsman in history after Sir Donald Bradman.

Dinesh Mongia doesn't deserve another chance
by Ento Gator on Jul 20, 2006 11:14 PM

I was so frustrated with Mongia's batting during 2003 world cup. I think Indian selectors need to come out box and look into future. Who said he is an all rounder? If so, how could we call Jacques Kallis and Andrew Flintoff or Chris Cairns?

Dear Rajendar!

Tendulkar will walk in to any nation's cricket team or any world Eleven not 0nly due to his performance but his sheer presence in the dressing room will raise the spirit of other team mates.Gangulay-His presence even at the cricket stadium will demorilse the players because it was he who played dirty politics during his captain days with the support of Wright. Cappel and Dravid are doing excellent job and Tendulkar's return has boosted the team moral. Dogs like you can only bark but cannot take any credit from the Master balster.

Tendulkar
by Rajendra on Jul 20, 2006 07:00 PM

Why? What was his performance? Just past records. He will be total failure in the tri-series.He palys once in a blue moon and retains his place at the cost on other players on the basis of past records.Who is it? its Tendulkar. If any is to get selected in the team just on the basis of past records the Ganguly has better one records than Tendulkar. But More amd Co.dont want Ganguly so he is out.

Should we ''automatically'' select players coming out of a long gap due to injury just because they are fit again ??
by Guru Rao on Jul 20, 2006 06:51 PM

It's a relief for millions of Indian cricket fans that Tendulkar is fit to play again. But, his 'automatic' inclusion in the team begs the question 'should we automatically include a player in the team coming after a long break just after passing the fitness test?'
I think not. Every player is bound to have a lean patch of form espcecially coming out of a long break, one is not sure about the player's 'real' match fitness and his form. Shouldn't player be made to play some domestic cricket and show his match fitness and prove his form before becoming eligible for selection?
Please don't get me wrong. I am great fan of Tendulkar and I think this rule should apply to anyone and everyone coming out of a long break.
This inturn also paves the way for some youngsters to get some real international exposure.

Guru.

Kick Chappell Out !!!
by Aman on Jul 20, 2006 06:32 PM

India can only dream of making it atleast to the semis of the world cup leave alone win it, unless they kick out this shit called Greg Chappell. Selection doesnt seem to be on merit. Its based more on the vims and fancies of the 'bunch of jokers' supported by that so called coach who is leading Indias downfall. How the hell can one drop Zaheer if selection was based on merit. Its high time BCCI interferes and breaks this More-Chappell combo.
