I think we should not forget what Ganguly gave to India as the greatest captain and a batsman. It is time we should give him a fair chance to prove himself once again. It would be good for Srinath and Manjrekar to stop complaining about Ganguly, who used to be a greatest HERO in this country unlike them.
It is good to see ganguly inclusion in the 30members team. The way he is removed from Indian team was not good , He is Very Sucessfull Captain from india. He has give a another chance, fair chance

Sanjay had a "blink and u miss it" career in Indian cricket. It is outrageously stupid on his part to comment on Ganguly, who has singlehandedly created what we today proudly call Team India. Srinath, at best, was a stop gap arrangement between Kapil Dev and Irfan Pathan. Dravid has proved what I always suspected him to be "Yes Man" to the seniors and a spineless character. Captaincy is a daunting task and it always affects the performance of the player as an individual. Even Sachin's batting prowess was affected when he was captain. There are very, very few exceptions to the rule. So let us ignore what these idiots have to say about Ganguly, who as it is has no chance of making a comeback as long as another non performer (Nayan Mongia) is seating in the selectors seat.
Ganguly is a cricketer of the past now. kapil has 434 wickets that doesnt mean that he can come now and take a 5 wkt haul. the prince was good in his days as sunny says the sunny days are over and ganguly shud pave way for the youngsters . if he is still fighting for a place show it in the number of runs that he can score and not in the no. of public outbursts. play well and nobody can stop you from being in the eleven and he has been given enuf no. of chances. u need not be a srinath or manjrekar to know this . any follower of Indian cricket can say this. THink abt the larger picture we have guys like raina , rao and other knocking after a great domestic season. think abt an indian victory not an individuals inclusion or exclusion. one man cannot alone win a match. so in the team interest may the best 14 of INDIA be selected
I think Sanjay manjrekar shud improve his commentating skills instead of lashing out at our most successful captain.Compared to what ganguly has acheived manjrekar is not even worth a drop in ocean.
Although ganguly was a great player but his current form is not upto the mark what we expected. but still he can be included in case if he performs well in domestic or county crickets.
