Please dont bring back the flag, coz they do not play for INDIA, they play for Team BCCI.
These guys do not deserve putting indian flag over their clothing and head gear.
Do they do anything for india, when India needs them? Instead they write letters to GoI asking for revoking tax ( while they can very well pay the same )
I think it's fine. As it is, they don't play for the Nation. And if we really love our nation so much, let us stop wasting days watching an idle game like cricket and do something useful for the nation like work.

The very fact you took pain to read this article and the time you spent on writing to the message board suggests that how busy you are and how you value ypour time. You are in no position to say that cricket is a waste of time.

Mr Kaushik Das,it is evident from ur vacous comments tat u think in the lower case and type accordnigly!! If the national treasures like sachin tendulkar are not allowed to adorn the indian colors then who else would deserve that?? i could only hope tat god gives u a much needed head on ur shoulders.but i m penitent tat it won't happen tat way!
i think the ones who made this new restriction had no other work. as one can see indians are the ones that take the most pride in playing for their country. for ex:davis cup, pete sampras arely played, fedrer also does not take so much interest.
I agree totally with you. This is totally outrageous. I dont know why govenrnment has brought this rule. They are also citizens of the country and ithnk they know how to handle their flag. Even if they keep it next to their shoes ok it is like kicking your flag but when they wear the flag on their helmets it gives a sense of pride.I hink this rule is totally out of order and the government should revoke it as soon as possible.
Whenever an Indian sports person participates in an international event, he/ she plays for the country. That is the phrase we all use, even the people in the government. So why this sudden ban? The cricketers too play for the nation even though Mr. Dalmiya had once stated that the Indian cricket team does not come under the Government. True, but it still is TEAM INDIA. The spirit of being an PRoud Indian is what the flag represents. And till no disrespect is being shown to the national flag the sports people and even the common people should be allowed to wear the flag. I would feel really proud to wear it on my cap or as a batch. And i am sure even the politician would feel the same way.
Cricket Matches in India represent commercial enterprise. They do not represent India more so commercial entity called BCCI who is run by politicians and bureaucrats out to make a fast buck.
