Ganguly's Expulsion
by Sashi Kumar on Dec 23, 2005 01:20 PM

Ganguly has been considered as the icon in the world cricket and he has been omitted under the grounds of age, Age issue has been raised because that is the only thing you cannot change. Being leading india for many victories the price BCCI gives him is sacking from captaincy and from team also. If this follows even we may loose Tendulkar at early age soon.

Not the way to treat Ganguly
by Bhargav on Dec 23, 2005 11:25 AM

He is the one who brought the thumping spirit into the game.
He is the real leader and a true match winner.
I personally feel as a match winner point of view he is far more superior to Tendulkar or anybody for instance.
This should not be the end of road for such a great leader batsmen.
Selectors should stop backing Mumbayya politics and should stop creeping the politics into the Sport which is a Religion in India where all sects of people unite and support the nation.
Ganguly was a great leader and will be if given a chance again.
That decission was really ridiculous from my piont of view.
Hope that the selectors have still some soft corner for the sport rather than SharadPawar.........politics.
