Ganguly has been considered as the icon in the world cricket and he has been omitted under the grounds of age, Age issue has been raised because that is the only thing you cannot change. Being leading india for many victories the price BCCI gives him is sacking from captaincy and from team also. If this follows even we may loose Tendulkar at early age soon.
i,m not bengali but yet your fan like many indians accroos the cities and states. People who decided your fate have not played even half of cricket u played and not even hai close to your contribution for indian cricket. You made us proud many a times whetehr in england, pakistan or australia. no matter u r in team or not,you r the best next to tendulkar for ever in indian cricket truley atleast in ODI.and surely the best captain we have seen ever.
You would come back like a winner...we all miss your passion, fire and commitment on field.
He is the one who brought the thumping spirit into the game. He is the real leader and a true match winner. I personally feel as a match winner point of view he is far more superior to Tendulkar or anybody for instance. This should not be the end of road for such a great leader batsmen. Selectors should stop backing Mumbayya politics and should stop creeping the politics into the Sport which is a Religion in India where all sects of people unite and support the nation. Ganguly was a great leader and will be if given a chance again. That decission was really ridiculous from my piont of view. Hope that the selectors have still some soft corner for the sport rather than SharadPawar.........politics.
