how selectore rate the smith is best captaine more ever he doesn't play against single match .selectore take a gamble to him over the captancy i chiose always Lara or Tendulkar should be given to him both r expirence and both plays more than 15 test against most of he know attitude and game plane aussies it is poor selection to give captancy smith. it like politics if i am selector i am not select smith over inzamam ul-haq he more experince player over the years or u can select as ganguly he is most successfully captaine against australiya u can select him
the selectors of the world level time have not gone through each and every teams individual playere such as shane bond, inzimam, chimanda vass, fleming as this players r very hand in both the form of games and r very experienced.
Selector must have chosen Inzimam over Sehwag atleast for test squad, Sehwag might be a gd player of one day cricket, but for test matches , he stands nowhere near to Inzimam. Its really pity.
i dont understand y did the selectors leave out a player of class like inzamam-ul-haq. in addition, they chose graeme smith instead of him. insult to injury, they also chose him as captain of the world 11 test team when there were more experienced players than him for example: lara, sachin and dravid. they all have 50 plus averages against australia. i think the selectors should think about their decision.
It was sure that wherever there is Gavaskar there will be baised selection, specially for "Inzy" as he is a Pakistani, it was a great set back. A non tracer of the cricket will laugh at the selection of these teams. Smith Ha ! Ha! Ha! as a captain (I wonder how much did SA bribed Gavaskar & co.). As a cricket lover axing Inzi from both the form of cricket is a blunder not only as a member, but he shall be appointed as a captain, instead of this young chicken(who himself has conflicts in his own team). I would have loved to see Inzi being deputized by Dravid for the World XI. Recent record of Inzi will answer all the quereies, to lead a medicore team of Pak and has made them a consistent winning team. This is no coincidence this is class of a quite person. Inzi dont get disappointed and carry on with your game. You r a great player.
I beleive that Inzamam is the best player of fast bowling better then anyone else in this world. His exclusion from the World eleven is shocking to say the least. I would love to hear why he was omitted from the team. However, its a surprise Rohan Gavaskar did not make it to the team.
It is really sad that the selectors have not selected one of the best batsman the world have ever seen i,e INZAMAM-UL-HAQUE.He is a true match winner and has guided Pakistan from several crunch situation to win the match.U can never expect such mistake from selection panel.I don't know how they have overlooked such a class act.
You dont need to have Sachin and Lara together in the squad. On present form Lara must go ahead of Sachin. Sehwag is a good choise but not Afridi. They shouldve got Vaughan or Gibbs to open. And you simply cannot exclude Dravid from any world 11 squad. Of course Inzamam dererves a look in but he really cant claim to be a better bat than Lara, Vaughan or Sachin. The bowling looks solid. I wish em luck but this might be a sequel to the packer series.
