He's a marvellous player........

VVS Laxman has proved the cricketing world that he is one of the most marvellous players when it comes to shot making..His excellent performance in the recent test series against New Zealand has shown that he still has the potential to wrap off any team when he is in good nick..I was very disappointed when the Indian selectors did not select him for the WORLD CUP ...I am sure that he would have played very well....

V.V.S. Laxman is a great Batsman.
by Shreeharsha Korti. on Oct 28, 2003 08:15 PM

I Think he is a great batsman. selectors were always unfair with laxman. He is a great batsman and he has proved many a times by scoring that farvellous 281 at kolkata test by which india won that test match. he has been underestimated always by the selectors as well as the veiwers. he is a great talent and consistently performing well for India in one day cricket & Domestic cricket. Altough he is getting out in 20s and 30s, but the selectors should persists with him. All and all carry on V.V.S. laxman.

Drop the past glory
by chandrasekhar on Oct 27, 2003 03:07 PM

Laxman was living on his past glory for some time with Indian team. Selectors did the right thing by dropping him and now he recognized and trying hard.
So its always best to drop the out of form players.
