He seems to be another statistician, making sensational reflections , whose validity ofcourse cannot be ascertained. Finally to say these guys actually becoming successfull as they always hit the headlines for the wrong reasons.

Sachin , the wicket keeper
by sanjay on Jun 05, 2003 11:39 AM

Well this is really crap to say that sachin would be a better wicketkeeper because of his reflexes.Wicket keeping is not only about reflexes, if it is so then make yuvi/kaif as wicketkeeper . I think they also have good reflexes.

Mr Krishna

I don't agree with your thinking that INDIA was lucky to reach the super sixes, because as u said the top 5 teams d9idn't show their full potential,so India took benefit of that and also they were second in their group & also out of all the teams after the First Round. What do you have to say about it.India played good cricket &reached the finals not because of luck.

You bet ! He predicted that Australia will win all the tests and ODIs in WI, and got 7/11 of them right.

Not paid by Aussies

The fact that "Krishna does not make a single Australian dollar for his work" tells you exactly how much the Aussies value this "secret weapon".

popcorn article

interesting reading though..

what do you mean by testing rahul dravid as a wicket keeper ? give him more catches and see if he can catch of not ? After match analysis can have thousands of reasons why one should have played the other way round. The only point on which I agree is that australia won the cup because of their consistency.

Aussies do not win bcoz they are good.......the opponents get overawed
by Oz on Jun 05, 2003 10:17 AM

Krishna ur analysis of India's performance in the world cup and its entry into the super6 is crap. Teams not firing, Tendulkar.....well buddy thts wht cricket is all about. the better team on that day wins. And this current indian team are not overly dependent on tendulkar. U have very talented and performing youngsters and also very mature and focussed seniors. So krishna take a hike.

I am an Indian citizen , but australian

I will say India is consistently inconsistent all throughout their cricket history. India has played well in WC 2003, but not at all near to Aussies. Aussies are the best and the best ever. India - Tendulkar is a big zero. Australia - any one in the 15 member team is Australia itself. That I reckon is the main difference

Hi,

Well said. Exactly my point too. Count me too in the

same category as yours. Aussies are extraordinarily

consistent and above all inspite of all their

greatness, there is not that much hype about them.

Indian cricketers hardly match the awesome Aussies.

Well said.

dude the question is not about aussie dominance..they ofcourse are the best at the moment..so stop putting weired unconnected comments..no one is doubting aussies here. The discussion is about the reasons Mr. Tunga gave for India's "lucky escape" till final. And if you ever played proper cricket in your life you'll realize what ppl are talking about here! Take for instance this guy's comment about "teams not testing dravid behind wickets enough!" or "Tendulkar being wicket keeper!!!" No wonder he failed everywhere in past!

Rediff mail please improve your quality by not allowing such rubbish articles
by Sanjay on Jun 05, 2003 10:10 AM  | Hide replies

I think there are millions of people who work on stats in their minds in India and better than these ...so should all of them earn australian dollars ...very funny and ridiculuous artcile ...How can rediff print such a thing ...Even Ali Baker mentioned that it was good for the game that India reached the finals .Had India won the world cup it would have been a turning point for the game of cricket.
Rediff if you keep printing such articles , its not good for site and your business
