Comments on Batting
by Anand Sabarad on Dec 08, 2003 06:57 PM

India batting has improved a lot in the past. Scoring 400 + runs in Australia and against Australia is a good sign for the Indian team. But they should capitalize that with the help of good bowling. when the pressure is put on the opposition with good batting, by good bowling one can win the match right at tha point. So by onlu batting and fielding well is not enough. You will have to bowl a good and a consistent line.
I hope and I believe that INDIA should do it this time.
ALL THE BEST TO THE INDIAN TEAM!!

A win went begging
by Vikram.S on Dec 08, 2003 01:04 PM

Great show by Indians.Just that, had the partnership between Laxman & Sourav stayed longer in the 1st innings,we would have raised to a great lead in no time. That would have set the tone for perfect finish for the Indians.Nevertheless, stupendous performance from our guys.Hopefully to be continued.

Cheers!

My heartiest congratulations to you Sourav. You have again proved that you are one of the toughest nuts.
My sympathies to his critics who have again been forced to eat their words.I also hope that critics continue their criticism of the tiger as it is then when Sourav and his team roars back.
I do hope that the critics are not hiding and have the guts to share their so called expert comments

first test
by nishat mazhar on Dec 08, 2003 04:25 AM

at the end of the fourth day, india is comfortably placed. there is no doubt that india wont lose this match. now india should try to win this match. early on the fifth day, india should score some quick runs in the first hour, taking a lead of about 100 runs. then they should ask australia to bat. then by keeping very attacking field, india should go for an all out attack whatever the result may be. who knows india might pull out a sensational win.
