Sachin's Surgery
by shreenivass on Apr 30, 2003 04:00 PM

Some people are simply jealous of cricket, sachin and his money.they cant digest the popularity the game and this star player is getting worldwide.he has EARNED his money by merit and sweat. he pays his taxes too and hasnt opted for an NRI status though he could have very well done that, like big B, earning in millions but not paying a farthing to the govt of india as income tax.

iiite first offf...indiaz medical facilitiez do not equal to the standard of the u.s. period

secondly, why blame sachin for havin his surgery done at the cost of BCCI? BCCI agreeed to payin his billls, he dint impose it on em!

third...whoeva said sachin isnt a winnning playa for the team anymore! anybody saw the WC wouldnt deny that if sachin wasnt in the team, india wudnt have reached the finals!

lastly...hes rich! he'd get surgeries done in da u.s., he'd import carz...he'd do any'n he wantz, we shud get ova da fact dat we dont get such libertiez n stop throwin da blame at othaz foe livin lavish!

The entire nation loves Sachin. Why should anyone crib about his going to usa for surgery. Its his prerogative to decide. He is the pride of India and deserves the best medical attention.

Sachin's injury

The govt. is footing his bill? A great cricketer but i think he should have had his surgery in Mumbai. There was no need for a U.S.A trip. Anhow i wish him allthe best and for the future of cricket in India.

thandulkar surgery
by Anupama on Apr 30, 2003 03:32 PM

Hi everybody,

I have a serious question in my mind. Recently i read in some magazine that sachin is capable of maintaining himself for many generations. In that case why indian govt has to pay money for his surgery which is nothing but people money?

There are so many people in india who are not in a position to do such kind of things. According to my view sachin should have outrightly rejected the govt offer and he should have done his surgery payment provided he is for our country.

BCCI paying for the surgery..Strange..
by Rohan on Apr 30, 2003 03:31 PM

I met Sachin at The London Heathrow Airport on 26th. of April while he was on his way to the US. He along with his family were taking Concorde(made out as they were entering Concorde Lounge).Concorde's are some 5-6 times more expensive then normal 1st class flight fares. Is BCCI paying for that as well..I wonder..:)
