Expected
by RacingForIndia on Nov 03, 2008 09:50 AM

I was expecting sour losers on here and I am not disappointed that there are aplenty. Instead of celebrating Ferrari’s constructors championship they prefer to point fingers to the second largest car manufacturer in the world and call them conspirators. If Toyota wanted Lewis to win wouldn’t they just ask their guy to spin off rather than make it so obvious. Also please remember after the first pits stop Lewis was wheel to wheel with another Toyota (Trullis car I think) and had to regain his place after overtaking that car on the track.
If Kubicas needless pass is fine with you guys I don’t see why is it so difficult for you'll to fathom that Timo was on the wettest part of the circuit and was on Dry tires. Also te lap times of both Timo and Trulli for that final lap are identical (1.44)so its not a as if one of them moved over or something.
But I think you guys should continue throwing brickbats at McLaren, its nice to see the Tifosi RED.
Go Macaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Real Champion

All people keep on harping about the really good drivers. And the name that keeps on appearing is Alonso, but i would like to differ from them. In my opinion someone who has shown the real spirit for an F1 driver is Kimmi. He is someone who has the aggression and hunger for driving and winning F1 races. But everbody can have their own opinion. No offences meant.

the last minute drama of Glock's car slowing down in the last leg after Massa's family waving the chequred flag for the world champion and finally Hamilton was declared champion only beacause Glock's car slowed down looks to me as if Glock did it purposely.... it does not give me a good impression of real sportsmanship in its true sense.....

what's sportmanship in front of a money-minting corporate goat like mclaren? glock did slow his machine on purpose. that's radio comm for us! money talks! the likes of alain prost and ayrton senna are gone. michael schumacher enters with huge confidence and a plethora of corporate backers, rides the best engine ever created in f1 world, races his way to the f1 title six times showing sheer gerry arrogance and gets into record books. it was good to watch alonso dethrone him. but i'm angry with alonso as well. he shouldn't have left renault when they had very good funding in 2005 and 2006, and just when 2007 looked prospective for them. anyway, things are different now. we'll have to see what 2009 has in store!

Well its fair and square if Glock has slowed down his car. In the previous race in China Kimi has slowed down his car to give Massa second Spot, and reduced the gap between Hamilton and Massa to 7 pts from 9 pts.

@ Neer:
You know what the rule book of FIA says ?????? It says a team is allowed to swap the positions of the players on grid, without affecting the track positions of any other player of any other team. So Raikkonen n Massa's swap holds good.
But what Glack did was altered the track positions of Vettel and Hamilton which is NOT ALLOWED in FIA Formula 1...So you better read the rule book before posting any wild comments!!

Not best drivers

Neither Hamilton nor Massa were the best drivers. It just so happens that they were driving the best cars in F1. The real racers proved to be Vettel and Alonos, who produced sme stunning results in second half of the year in avg cars, a fact more glaring when their fellow team mates where nowhere near them

let hamilton show us all his racing skills on a super aguri. let alonso or massa or raikkonen also race alongside him on super aguris. the truth is out there to seek. just abusing someone's opinion won't get anyone anywhere.

i agree... Hamilton's and massa's wins are mostly assisted by their high performing cars ad techonology whereas Alnoso still shows the circut what he has to offer even with an avg car... for me..Alnoso is the champ...

yes. alonso is the best f1 driver the world has seen. he has the charisma, the strength and yet he's so subtle, charming and suave when he's racing. he's my champ as far as the universe goes. good show fernando! we'll all see you take renault to constructor's champion with you as the gp champ next year. keep up the good show!

by Srid on Nov 03, 2008 03:15 AM

Mclaren has a lot to thank Glock for whatever he did.. He was completely off the racing line and cruising along to let Vettel and Hamilton overtake him. According to me it's Massa who is the champion..
