Mclarens have once again proved that they they wanna win .. off the track if not on the track ..
One can imagine how much timo and toyota must have got from mclarens .. for puling out at the last corner .

Had this been a ferrari .. in place of Mclarens and had it been Msc in place of LH ..
all the news papers .. all the websites .. bolgs would have started crying that FIA is favoring Ferrari .. now since that is Mclarens and Lewis Hamilton .. No one has raised a question...

I HATE lEWIS HAMILTON .. I HATE MCLARENS
I HATE TIMO GLOCK too !!

WELL SAID. THIS IS FIXED. AND MASSA DESERVES TO BE A WINNER. HE HAS MOST NUMBER OF WINS. ALSO SEE THE WAY HE WON THE BRAZILIAN GP. AND THIS NERVOUS WRECK HAMILTON HAD TO DEPEND ON GLOCK FOR HIS WIN. GLOCK MUST BE RICHER NOW....

Typical Ferrari Fan u r, but irrational I would say. I too adore Ferrari, but you conviniently forget the fact that Massa was HELPED by Kimi in the previous race to keep his Championship hopes alive. But why would you remember that.

How long will you cry over spilt milk. This season in most races McLaren car was as good as a Ferrari and in wet conditions Ferrari just couldnt compete with a McLaren.
Give some credit where it is due .. Lewis is the Champion

Lewis - The deserving champion
by Truth Teller on Nov 03, 2008 04:40 PM  | Hide replies

F1 is unlike other sports where champions are made solely based on their talents. To excel in F1 you need to be a good driver and have a good car with good team to give you excellent pitstops. Lewis - McLaren is one such combination. I always had a soft corner to the red ferraris but I must admit that had McLaren had a better driver instead of Heiki, Ferrari would have had a tough time winning the constructors title.
Lewis is young, rash and unpredictable. Champions like them make watching F1 all the more interesting. More than anything, he has been consistent. He tries to get as many points as he can from all the races and that is what won him the championship. With a 7 point lead going into the last race, McLaren played very safe. Had the margin been lesser, we would have seen a far more agressive Lewis. All in all a great season and the person who deserved most won. No regrets.
The things I look forward in the next season would be
1. Renault and any improvements from them.
2. BMW's new car and Kubica
3. Last but not the least Vettel. He will be a star.
4. Will Heike play a bigger role in the championship.

cant wait for 09 season to begin ..

only one thing to say

" HE IS A NOBODY IN FRONT OF SCHUMACHER"

u can harp on and on about hamilton, we have seen enough races of him to know that vettel/alonso/massa are better then him

mclaren also have cycles in which their competency goes down and renaults increases..next season i am sure they will go down, then we will see how well hamilton will do

Look at what Schumi achieved in his first 2 years of racing and compare that with Lewis. He is more than a match. It is only a matter of time before all his records are broken. I know Schumi fans cant digest that fact ..

Truth Teller,
Srivastva is right. Accept it. Even when Schumi joined Ferrari, they were down in the dumps. Schumi was instrumental in their revival.

In comparison Hamilton got a finished package to race from the beginning. He is talented but is not Schumacher.

Writing the same message 4 times doesnt make it right. How can you compare 2 sportsmen from different era riding on different cars? Even the technologies have changed. It is not fair to compare them. When history is written, Schumi will have his place and Lewis will have his. Lets not judge now who is better.

Schumi has already made him mentally ready for his records to be broken. he did state in his recent interviews that he expects Lewis to break his 7 championship records. He is a sportsman and he knows things and can live with that, but not his fans.
For them, the king is dead but long live the king.

by srivatsa yb on Nov 03, 2008 04:34 PM  | Hide replies

after schumi retired i dont follow all F1 races and watch them periodically..

Hamilton fans pls answer only this question

why did glock not block the corner?? after the corner there was only one big straight where there was no need for any grip. any racing driver would have blocked, glock just plainly cheated...

How come kubica on dry clocked 1.29 whereas the toyotas clocking 1.30s in the last but one lap went to 1.44 in the final lap??

hamilton is not even as good as vettel is !!

Drivers are prone to make lots of mistakes when they drive in wet conditions with dry tyres. Did you all forget what happened with Kimi when Lewis was trying to overtake him. He could keep control of his car and went wide and crashed into the barriers. It is funny to see so many Indians see "fixing" in this. Maybe because we are used to doing this all the time.

going out of the racing line to let competitors pass when u are fighting for 4th place with 1 corner and a huge straight to go is "FIXING"

I don't think F1 judges are brainless. There is problem with glock tyres(dry) and he might be very low on fuel (remember he is 'effectively' on single stop strategy), his engine barely has any supply.
Had he really intend to help hamilton, he would have gone to pit stop for web tyres and join after hamilton(remember he is behind hamilton before the wet tyre pit stop by hamilton).
One who can't digest hamilton winning only make such comments...

These eveything has been decided earlier. In the last lap of Brazil Glock was riding 9.14sec ahed of Vettal and Lewis.
But in the last corner he was slowed his car and allow to pass lewis and vettal. If he is having real problem with car why don't
he allow Hekki, Trulli who were on the 7th and 8th?
And you can see the Glock who was congrates Lewis after the race.
This is clearly indicates Clock did cheating.
Now he may drive for Mclaren in 2010!!

Massa is the real champ
by srivatsa yb on Nov 03, 2008 04:27 PM  | Hide replies

i watched it live..it was very very obvious that glock slowed down a lot with 2 corners to go without even holding his racing line making it very very easy for hamilton to pass..

I have watched F1 for 16 years now and i know when its fair and when its not. any driver will block ppl behind them no matter how bad their condition is in the last lap of the race..
glock i think will join mclaren...this is pathetic

so was kubica.... and glock wasnt even on the racing line when hamilton overtook him....

i m not saying its fixed or its wrong... acc to the rulebook its fair and hamilton won.... but dont try to prove that glock didnt give up his position....

congrats to hamilton for the 2 good seasons... he deserved to win a championship as much as the other title contenders.... but he did need some help in the end which some ppl were ready to offer... thats it...
