FORMULA 1 FIXED
by Leslie Mascarenhas on Nov 03, 2008 11:55 AM  | Hide replies

And we thought we had Fixing in Cricket. What a Shame to watch Toyota & McLaren indulging in one of the Most Balant & will be talked about in years Move.Since Toyota Formula 1 Boss is on his way out & the Indicatives are he may be stationed at McLaren guess what happens in the last 20 Seconds. The Greatest Scam was pulled out in the Front of Billion of Viewers. If Vettel had not passed Lewis the Toyota & Glock would not have made this move.I was never a fan Of Massa but after yesterday i was heart broken as here was a Driver who was dogged by Bad luck ( econd lat lap leading the race his Engine Blows away , Leading the race & a Feul Pipe undos his race & many more ) but to be hit below the Belt like this will break any mortal mans spirit. There has to be a Enquiry as Glocks move allowed changes in the Points position of other Teams which is not allowed in F1.McLaren after the Spying scandal last year have outdone themselves this year.Sports is no more about Fairness but now its Money Power.

I CERTAINELY RESPECT THE FEELINGS OF ALL FERRARI FANS, AS THEY BARK AFTER LOOSING, NOW THEY SHOULD ALSO LEARN TO DIGEST MCLAREN VICTORY: HATS OFF TO HAMILTON WHO IS TRULY WORLD CHAMPION. WHY YOU GUYS CAN'T SEE THE EARLIER RACES MOVES EITHER BY FIA OR FERRARI FAVOURING FERRARI DRIVERS, LIKE IN BELGIUM, JAPAN, CHINA ALL INCIDENTS SHOWS THE FERRARI IS DOING ALL DIRTY TRICKS TO WIN RACES AND NOT MCLAREN. PLEASE ALLOW MCLAREN AND HAMILTON TO WORK FOR REST OF THE COMING YEARS TO WIN ALL CHAMPIONSHIPS.
GOOD LUCK TO MCLAREN MERCEDES AND CONDOLANCES TO FERRARI.

If Toyota wanted Lewis to win wouldn’t they just ask their guy to spin off rather than make it so obvious. Also please remember after the first pits stop Lewis was wheel to wheel with another Toyota (Trullis car I think) and had to regain his place after overtaking that car on the track.
If Kubicas needless pass is fine with you guys I don’t see why is it so difficult for you'll to fathom that Timo was on the wettest part of the circuit and was on Dry tires. Also te lap times of both Timo and Trulli for that final lap are identical (1.44)so its not a as if one of them moved over or something.
But I think you guys should continue throwing brickbats at McLaren, its nice to see the Tifosi RED.
Go Macaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

u r talkin as if spinning off is the easiest thing to do on purpose.... do u realise that they are not driving at 40kmph and even if its planned a spin off could hurt the driver.... (the "parking" incident)

my obv guess is ur one of those ppl who were bugged with MS winning nonstop and if u remember his last season in Monaco qualifyin, u would realise that even that much experience cant help u spin off easily...

All the more to Doubt them...Have you seen Hamilton & Heiki times matching or for that matter Kimi & Masa times matching.Since no 2 Cars have the same set up & the Characteristics be different besides Driving styles of Drivers being different how can Lap times be Exactly the same. You will see the Truth after a Enquiry is Made.

You are out of your mind - why are you not talking about Kimi allowing him to pass in the last race (to gain points) and Stewards striping off Lewis of his win at Belguim (6 points benefit) This is not fixed !!!! Support the true champion …Hamilton !!!! Shame for Ferrari despite of all their tactics Masa didn’t win.

I dont believe in what Timo GLock or Honda are reasoning for slowing down in the last lap to allow Hamilton pass thru to chapionship. Massa won more races and deserved to win.

Glock was on dry tyres and these things happen. Glock placed his bets on not raining and he jumped to 4th when it was not raining and others went for a tyre change. But when it started raining he lost it .. As simlpe as that ..

Certainly NOT a deserving Champion, but a Choker
by Vyankatesh Rege on Nov 03, 2008 11:11 AM  | Hide replies

Hamilton may have won the C'ship but he showed his choking abilities once again yesterday when he created the blunder and let Vettel pass him. Mind you, that was NOT due to any mistake on Kubica's part, as experts pointed out in post-race analysis, it was a driving error by Hamilton in crucial stage of the race. Irrespective of what happened with Glock (and I still think there is some scandal involved, what else can you think of McLaren after last years scandal?) the fact remains that Hamilton had blown up the Championship again by choking under pressure. The guy was just lucky to win, just like he's been lucky to land at McLaren (that too as favourite to Alonso !!!) directly in his first season itself, unlike other drivers who have proved their worth time and again in lesser quality cars.

Not a deserving Champion just a lucky choker !

Re: Certainly NOT a deserving Champion, but a Choker

Massa is probably a bigger choker of the two. Hamilton has won so many races after not starting from the pole whereas Massa is yet to win a race where he was not on the pole position. If Massa has lost position is any of the races due to any external reasons, you never find him fighting his way up. Hamilton never quits and thats the reason why he won.
The best Massa could do in this race was to win and he did win. All he could hope was some illuck for Hamilton but alas it was not to be.

Lucky choker ... hahaha funny how most Indians are supporting the ferrari drivers. Lewis had the same car as his Heikki and see the difference in points. Anybody who has seen him drive in China and Monte Carlo will tell that he is the best in the business. Pound for pound the only one who can be close is Alonso.

What d f u think Hamilton should win the guy who has the most number of foolish penalty's. He should have been sacked from racing a f1 car.And yesterday what happend to Glock at the last coner
1. petrol over- foolish ans
2. engine problem at the last corner- do not ever thnik of it
3. IT IS ONLY MONEY MATTERS.
IF GLOCK IS FOUND GUILTY then there is only 1 ans i.e say BYE BYE to Glock, Hamilton and Mclaren

You know what the rule book of FIA says ?????? It says a team is allowed to swap the positions of the players on grid, without affecting the track positions of any other player of any other team. So Raikkonen n Massa's swap holds good.
But what Glack did was altered the track positions of Vettel and Hamilton which is NOT ALLOWED in FIA Formula 1...So you better read the rule book before posting any wild comments!!

Congratulations Lewis Hamilton!!!
by Prasad P on Nov 03, 2008 09:52 AM  | Hide replies

Congratulations to Lewis for becoming the youngest ever F1 world champion. It wasn't an easy championship for him, it seemed he had lost it in the last lap today but luck favours the brave and he finished fifth just just enough to snatch the championship.

Mclaren cars looked out of touch today at the Brazilian GP, not sure what the reason is but their strategy and performance wasn't competetive to make it easy for Lewis.

For me Lewis is the clear winner this season. Just to highlight Massa had been gifted almost 9 points this season by others especially the FIA (Ferrari Influenced Association):)

a) Controversial penalty to Lewis at Spa Belgium GP which helped Massa gain 6 points advantage.

b) Controversial penalty to Sabastian Bordias of Tororosso at Japan which helped Massa gain 1 point.

c) Kimi allowing Massa to take 2nd position at Chinese GP which helped to gain 2 points.

So if we deduct these 9 points he didn't deserve Lewis could have won in the last race itself!!!

WIth the higest number of penalty's by Hamilton he should be stripped of his point he has broken Schumachers's record of most penalty in a season. (Mind Schumacher had never thought of breaking the record of most penalty but Hamilton did)
