May his Soul Rest in Peace

Amar Chitra katha was an in-separable part of a lot of children and in most cases, helped the childhood in imparting knowledge about our rich culture and values. Uncle Pai, whom we know of was very instrumental in maintaining the high standards, yet easily accessible to the common man. I hope the same standards continue at ACK team even after this great mans death..!

As a name he is Uncle to most of our PreMobilised, Precomputersiation days. We used to fight in the school gap hours to read AMAR CHITRA KATHA from the school library.

Based on comic we learnt most of Indian ancient, patriotic heroes too. We always remember you thru those all katha.

With regards,

shyam sundar v javalakar

You said "summer vacation" and brought back loads of memories. Apart from playing and playing and playing, with hardly any TV, exchanging comics and story books and reading every single inch of the book :)

Enjoy..
