I am a proud Karwari.. But I am not Kanadiga... My blood boils when Kanadigas say that Karwar is of Karnataka... Karwar is not of Karnataka... It is of Maharashtra.

Have you visited Goa any time Sumana? Though the first language of Goa is Konkani..but as Konkani do not have script... Goan first language is Marathi.. Goa, Karwar, Belgaum, Nipani, Khanpur are more related to MH than to Karnataka.

If yur so proud of yur state, go and protect it.The risk of being attacked from pakis has trebled ever since 26/11.The danger is more to yur state than to any other state of india.

sumana and Kanadiga.. Please try to protect your Karnataka first... Karnataka is governed by Tamilians and you people are their slaves being in your own state. Shame on you.. You dont have guts to protect your own state and therefore hiding in the lungee of these tamilians.
we kannadigas are very soft by nature that is our problem.look at naidu and the telugus, how he has taken the fight to maharashtra.andhra pradesh and telugus is a perfect foil for maharashtra and marathis.
Re: AP vs MAHA
by Karwari Rohit on Jul 17, 2010 11:23 PM
You kanadis are not soft by nature... but you people are useless, illiterate and uncultured. Now you just see your Karnataka .. it is run by Tamilians and not by your people. I am Karwari .. a proud Karwari but not Karnataki...

sumana.. it is not picking from graveyard... We people are struggling from the beginning.. this is not the show of one night. But let Belgaum, Karwar,Nipani, Khanapur be a part of MH... Samyut Maharashtra.
Belgaum belongs to India. To heck with both states and their juvenile claims. If these idiots have to be accomodated then why should you blame Jinnah for partitioning India and saying that people of different religions cant live together???
Get a job, you people and spend time working for your state and India instead of pelting stones and burning buses and only to spend time with your own kind!!! Learn to live with others!

Go to any chawl in Mumbai, you will find marathi guys wearing Dhoti, with a lota in their hands, running fast towards the nearest toilet, to attend the call of the nature. Go to any small coastal town of Maharashtra (say Dahanu/Bordi), and you will see locals defecating in the chowpatty. After that who wants to take a dip in that beach?

So Kannadigas now have dispute with Maharashtra (belgaum), Andhra (mining), Tamil Nadu (Water), Outsiders (assault in name of language).
When will we become humans?

add mamta kulkarni, varsha usgaonkar and madhu sapre. marathis should be proud of these three.
Re: List of some Famous Marathis
by Karwari Rohit on Jul 17, 2010 10:58 PM
What you got by writing so many names ? The article is for something else and you are using your brain somewhere else .. It was Mahajan Commission who made all this blunder of giving Marathi speaking place of Belgaum, Karwar, Nipani to Karnataka....
Re: Re: List of some Famous Marathis
by Kesari Kannadiga on Jul 17, 2010 11:01 PM
wah wah.. do you even have slightest of idea what mahajan commission was?? Nipani, Khanapur and other 264 villages are recommended to handover to MH. MH govt. don't want it.
Re: Re: Re: List of some Famous Marathis
by Karwari Rohit on Jul 17, 2010 11:07 PM
Who told you that Nipani and Khanapur was not needed by MH ? Read the History Kannadiga... You will understand that Mahajan had given Nipani, Khanapur but not Belgaum, Karwar and therefore as an amendment for his partial and corrupt commission and therefore the same was rejected as we people wanted Belgaum and Karwar tooo.... It was a decision from the people of Nipani, Khanapur and not of MH.
Re: Re: Re: List of some Famous Marathis
by Karwari Rohit on Jul 17, 2010 11:03 PM
Kesari Kannadiga.... You are kannadiga.. what else we Karwari should expect from you ? Mahajan was from Chandigarh... and he built a bungalow in Chandigarh after his partial judgement in Karnataka-Maharashtra disputed area... We were butchered by Mahajan who was bribed by your Karnataka Government (Devraj Urs)
Ashok Chavan must be a fool to think that some Karnatak CM would just like that handover Belgaum to Maharashtra. All border disputes must be put to rest once and for all. If there any issues of people in the border areas, that is a different matter, which can be resolved by other mechanisms. Sixty years after independence, these filthy politicians, instead of solving more pressing issues like poverty, corruption, development, etc they are whipping up regional emotions for cheap political gains. Belgaum is like Kashmir, If any Indian PM can hand over Kashmir to Pak, then a Karnatak CM will hand over Belagaum to Maharashtra. In the mean-while, dogs can bark
I think both the satates are so big that they cannot do justice to people in these region. Goa is next of these states and so Belgaum should be connected to Goa as single state and this would have lesser expenditure on admin and other failities. I am not for spliting Karnataka and giving to Goa it is only the admin part which both the states people will enjoy . This will make Goa a large multicultured state and also make it beautiful states among all.
This just a consideration so every one is happy and all expenditures and bandhs should stop after all it would remain a part of Karanata, maharashtra and Goa ofcourse India.

Let Belgaum remain with Karnataka. Why are the politicians fighting over petty issues, are we not all Indians. Maharastra is too large and it cant solve much of its own problems and has a huge debt, which as it appears will not be cleared in our life time.
There are many Konkanis in border areas of Goa adjoining Maharastra & Karnataka, If language is the basis, merge them with Goa.
Re: Re: Belgaum should be along with Goa

Old Monkey... This is not an old issue... Belgaum,Karwar, Nipani people are still struggling to get their rights. We all are Marathi speaking people and Maharashtrians by blood.. Do not indulge us into Kanadigas..

Hi Karwari, language cannot be the reason for present day realities. Lets accept it and lets move on. Lets solve and save our energy to fight with the Jahadi Pakis, hell bent on destroying us. If you still believe in the political nonsence of Ashok Chavan, I would rather use the same yardstick and say Goa deserve some parts of both belligerent Karnataka & Maharashtra.

yes u r right old monk don't argue with karwari pandit he him self frustrated with his identity and have no meaning in life i suggest him to know who he is human/indian or dirty political leader dividing us for his benifts. making us fool giving no development to nation creating foreign debt on country doing unnecessary comments on others as he is done many great things for his own place karwar dont he see beggers in all over the nation even if belgav combined with MH and Karwar to goa condition will not change.
