his works will nevr allow to forget him..u take care of urself first
Though, I never had an occasion to hear his Sarod at any live performance, I heard him in number of music cassettes and CDs which invariably took me off into the world of literal intoxication! His performance tamed me to fall to its touching moments of excellence! He carried me with him when he soared into those intricate features of few ragas like malkauns etc.,! I could further see him through the extremely talented performances of one of his primary disciples, Dr. Pandit. Rajeev Taranath, who is one of the very few on top in Sarod today! He takes the audience spell bound! Of course, in the demise of Pandit Ali Akhbhar Khan, the world lost the only one of the kind of Maestro of Sarod and music in general! Perhaps, this loss is irrepairable! May his soul rest in peace! My heartfelt condolences to his family!

in any religion every principle has reason, multiple marriage and millions of of children
Legendary Ustad Ali Akbar Khan is undoubtedly the greatest Indian Musician, his umpteen brilliant performances all over the world over the years including the inimitable Jugalbandi with his guru bhai Pandit Ravi Shankar will remain forever into the ears and mind of music lovers. This is a loss beyond everything. Wishing his soul rest in peace.
