i think saawariya was a nice movie but as people are veryy used to these stupid masalass n stuff they won't' understand or won't' like saawariya because it is an artistic movie.. ok perhaps the story isnt good..but..it wasntt that bad either..and well hello can't' you guys appreciate the efforts of sonam n ranbir i mean any actor didnt actt as well as ranbir in his first film..take anyy big star in srk 's first movie he acted like a ttl shit..! however now he is really nice..!! but i think dese people whome you call kiddos did a fantastic job!! n slb can do much better ..!! dis was just an imagination..!! which perhaps is not soo..appealinngg...but..saawariya isnt a super flop...!!!!

Saawariya has been written off but this seems to be because it lost the initial battle against Om Shanti Om. It may not have opened as well as Om Shanti Om but the opening is still amongst the best of 2007. The film had collections of 95-100% at multiplexes while single screens were around 80-85%. The reports are poor but if it can hold out through the week at multiplexes then it could recover costs or even make some money. Single screens are going to find it tough as cracks in collections can be seen this morning already with a 20-25% drop at places
Big crowds for this film in Europe. Apparently this film is going to be one of SRK's biggest hits. A thoroughly enjoyable fair! Saawariya (very badly made) pales out really before OSO. Spoof's in Indian cinema are rare. Enjoy this one. The last know spoof on bollywood I know was RGV's Rangeela!

Big crowd for both OSO n SWRYA.Crowd coming out after cing OSO r all happy , saying its worth every penny, a true entertainer.But Sawariya crowd r just gloomy n sad as if they felt a blow onto their head.They r all crying of have lost their money for a crap film. Hey good that you came out, i just couldnt and why should i in the first place,i have spent on my tickets and i wanted to know whats the final end or sanjay will end our lives.anyway thankfully i am alive,salman comes to take that so called gigling girl with no role as such,(sakina)and thankfully the film ends.and i came home with a terrible headache.thats the story dear.hope you like mine atleast.

On the festive Occassion of Diwali, a disaster struck all over India called OSO. The disaster is described as full of Crap originated in minds of overhyped Khans.
The major highlight of this disaster is that it strucks to the people who buy a ticket and go to watch OSO in a cinema hall. The victms experince severe torture and cry out loud to get their money back.
Meanwhile investigation done by Indian Scientists shows that the microorganism assumed to be the root cause is actually an AMOEBA called SHAHRUKH or SRK, which is known to take any shape and it has choosen to take shape of six packs in the event of this deadly strike.
Scientists all over world are trying to come up with a vaccine but it may take several years.
The supreme court has ordered the individuals responsible for this disaster (Maninly Farha and Shahrukh) to set up a fund called OSO RELIEF FUND to help the victims. Further Farha is specially ordered to sell her newly gifted Mercedez in order to compensate the families of victims over 80 years all of whom died on the first glimpse of SRK.
People are adviced to take following
Precautions: 1. Stay away from cinema halls where OSO is screened 2. Stay away from Reviewers of Rediff Specially Raja Sen who was heavily compensated by this AMOEBA (called SRK) giving him the priviledged carrier of this disease.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali and good, original movie making....it must be a big joke...he truns movies into theatres.....sad, hollow and shamefully stolen from somewhere....I have never seen anything more pathetic as Devdas in my life.... he had killed a beautiful novel to say the least...Mr. Bhansali...is never subtle...never filmic....he is dramatic and theatrical....he thinks one great way of movie making is to create fancy sets and blowing away millions of rupees in filmy sets...Black..which Amitabh bacchan thought one of his best movies...is a reflection of the same....an over hyped, over acted melodrama....how will Mr. Bacchan know a good movie...In how many good movies has he ever acted anuway???? And then Sawariya...do not want to say anything else otherthan..."How come Bhansali deserves to call himself a film director?" It looks like anyone who has money can call himself a film director...BOLLYWOOD shame on you...please stop making this trashes....and portraying these ordinary men as greatest film critics and directors.

Its a fact that you indians hype your normal copycat directors a bit more then they deserve.There is a limit to stupidity,a movie like OSM and now Sawarya.Black was tomtommmed in bombay as as a masterpiece...in europe people were appaled, stunned and ashamed to see Rani mukherjee and Amitabh act so clumsily, a role which required more sensitivity which sadly not the actors or director had.
Are Indians so stupid that you cannot even take one worthy film to be showcased in Canne or other festivals.Even countries like Iran an Rwanda are making one or two nice films in a year.
Sad on you as a race....beacuse films are a relection of the civilisation or race that you belong to.

You are spot on with your comments. As to how this man S.L. Bhansali survives & thrives and even pretends to be a thespian of sorts, read my earlier comments under the heading "Mixed Metaphors........". Mr. Srivastava aka Amitabh Bachchan & S.L. Bhansali have plenty of admirers and paid minions & hirings patrolling such sites. Since they can't refute what you are saying logically they will do the only thing they are capable of: abuse,, threaten & shout you down.
Saturday 10, 6.30 AM Sanjay Leela Bhansali is found dead near Madam Tussads. The scotland yard police is enquiring SRK and Karan Johar who is in Canada to promote his next upcoming film "KANK-2"
Neither sawariya nor om shanti om is any big deal.. both are doing whatever business because of media overkill..and yes.. whatever business they are making is only because of media.. everywhere in all newspapers, newschannels one only gets to see info on both these movies.. ( as if no other worthwhile event is happenning anywhere in this country) anyway OSO, will be liked by only die hard shah rukh fans. He goes thru the same antics, similar spoofs and faces.. But yes.. his fans will like him.. I did not..in some places the movie goes plain corny and juvenile ( especially his take on south indian moviestar to impress the heroine, as also a staged fight with a dummy tiger and ever heard of a movie star ( om kapoor ) arranging all facilities for a producer ( mukesh mehra)!!! ).. It is but a ghost story, with the heroine returning back and taking her revenge on her own. Sawariya on the other hand is a dark movie. made in the format of a stage opera.. I just realised that there was absolutely no outdoor scene nor sunlight. Ranbir Kapoor will do well. He has charishma, but the movie drags ( as all slb movies do). and so if you are a die hard srk fan and like him to do the same stuff which he does in all movies since kuch kuch hota hai, then you will still like OSO. and in case you liked devdas and Black, then you may also like Sawariya. My own suggestion is either watch Jab we met or Bhool Bhullia..atleast there is some novelty both in story and way of handling.
there is lots of mention of brothels and prostitutes in this movie.. we can not answer these things to kids particularly when rani muk compares the guest house lady to be herself as in guest house people come and sleep,eat and pay money and same for her as well as people consider her body to be guest house....... disgusting dialogue.. and actually my son asked what is the meaning,,, i just kept quiet.. shame on bansali
