MR
He deserve it, he should face it.

Aamir Khan deserves protest from Gujarat ruling party (ofcourse without power & muzzle). He had been a nice guy and never entered into any controversy. Why should he suddenly jump into the controversy. If he wants to serve the people, there are lot of problems in India. Why can't he protest for bomb blasts in Mumbai, why can't he protest against the attack in Akshardam temple, why can't he protest the recent killing of 34 Hindus by the terrorist. Why can't he protest against the MNC soft drinks which is spoiling the healths of Indians. Who is stopping him from going for indefinite hunger strike for the goodwill of lakhs of Kashmiri pandites who are staying in the streets of Delhi. Why is he not protesting anything else? Is he only against BJP? then Gujarat BJP has the rights to protest against his movies without violance and mis-use of power.

Aamir v/s. BJP
by Shalini Baigh on May 29, 2006 10:52 PM

Aamir's concern was for the people who are / would be displaced and needed rehabilitation and he was not against the construction of the Dam. This he had made clear even before the controversy of Fanaa.
May be politicians like, Sushma Swaraj & shatrughan Sinha wants to be in the boots of Mahajan since the place is vacant now and are raising the issue without giving much thought to the real statement. Do they think they can fool the public by misquoting / attributing lies?

We wonder why the people of Gujarat are silent? Do they not want the displaced people of their state to be rehabilitated. Is the Government of Gujarat not willing to rehabilitate the displaced people.

We support Aamir Khan on this issue totally.

Bollywood support to Amir Khan
by Prasad on May 29, 2006 10:45 PM

Not only Bollywood but every citizen of free India who feels that India is a democratic country should support Amir Khan. He has not hurt the sentiments of any region or religion nor he supported any illegal or non contitutional scheme. Though he has no personal gain in this support he came forward to support the people who are displaced by this scheme. Secondly I really appreciate his stand for not apologising for what he has done, because he has not done any wrong from any aspect. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MR. AMIR KHAN.

What Aamir Khan had said was utter nonsense. He has every right to support or oppose Narmada Bachao Andolan. But he has not right to brand BJP as a party promoting violence. If he has such rights being a democratic country, BJP also has it own rights to teach such people one or two lessons. Just because you are living in a democratic country that does not give its citizen the rights to speak anything about anybody. This should be a leason for those who cast him in their future films.

Hi,
It's illigle, unconstitution, undemocratic and i feel that BJP now has lost its glory and direction after the era of Our Former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji.

Everyone know that this has got nothing to do with Gujrati people. It's Narendra Modi who is the root of the problem. His past behaviour is more then enough to get the point. It's high time that Centre should intervene and tell him clearly that he can't govern on this manner either he should behave and respect constitution or be made to quit or shacked.

Regards,
R.K

it is an antinational movie.
by ranjit on May 29, 2006 09:46 PM

I feel that the BJP is doing a foolish thing by opposing the release of the movie for amir khans support for the NBA... I saw the movie and was agast at the blatant anitnational sentiments it echoes.. The movie is openly glorifying the life of a kashmiri terrorist and the kasmiri liberation cause.... It should have been opposed for that.. would a movie which echoes similar antinational sentiments have seen light in any other country other than the most "Tolerant and secular and forgiving" india..
