Amir kans statement on the rehabilitation of the effected people is a right to speak in a democratic system is natural. Everyone can talk and can express openions. If some political people are objecting it is hell to them . Irrespective of th party lines in India, there is a time has come to change the course of our political system. I think in my openion all educated and scholours should come forward to start a new political party which should abolish our constitution and bring justice.

I am with Amir . He is a hero in a natural environment. He is a corougeous leader . If anything happens to him. Its a fire. No political party can prevent from that fire.

''Secularism'' in action
by Vishvaksenah on May 30, 2006 10:31 AM

Glad to see that 'secularism' is in action.

No murmur of protest against the actions of the Punjab Government in banning DaVinci code.

But all people worth their salt protest the action of Gujarat government.

Long live 'secularism' !

Of course, all under world supporters will support him. What is bollywood? a place where illegal money gets to see the light? Bollywood is the greatest curse for India.

Good Points there , No doubt we follow freedom of speech & I agree with Mr shah to discuss the entire nation's problem with solutions.Do not divide country on basis of religion, caste or creed.

Cheers!
Suresh

Aamir's statement on narmada dam
by dhaval shah on May 30, 2006 10:06 AM  | Hide replies

Hi all,

It is accepted that everybody has right to give an opinion. Freedom of speech has to be there. But one has to take notice of the fact that..

If aamir has something for the ppl of India then he should first start from his own home i.e. is he paying appropriate taxes..(as taxes indirectly helps ppl of india), then he should raise his voice against involvement of Mafia's in film industry.

And has he ever spoken abt the massacre in Kashmir..why he is not speaking ? why he is not criticizing that act ??

It is two standards by him that bothers ...

He is worried abt few ppl ..(Accepted that ppl should be rehabilitated) then why is he not raising his voice against reservation..aren't those ppl betrayed ? (where is his conscience in all the above mentioned issues..)

Shut up aamir...and all bollywood..
be rationalize...

Gujarat is so much peaceful that after every one year if has to see the bloodbath created by the riots unprevented by the govt. If gujarat is peaceful then wat will u call the rajasthan which is also having BJP Govt. This problem is not with the BJP but with the some of its leaders who do politics as a person and not as a party. But the result is clear now. This party is going to pull down the shutter and people like me who were looking a good alternative for congress will have to make a new search.

Jai Hind
(But not Jai Shri Ram)

I don't think it's for the audience to bother about whether Aamir is paying his taxes correctly. He has raised his voice against an issue, and as a mature citizen we can either support it or refute it. But showing other points where Amir could have raised his voice, is not such a good argumentative point. It is not rational at all. Be logical in your point.

it is totally unethical, Only a week political party would do such irresponsible acts. This government is time and again responsible for the riots that occur. I feel symphtetic for state like Gujarat.

AMIRKHAN Issu
by N M Desai on May 30, 2006 09:32 AM

Amirkhan has created unnecessary , unwarranted issue and has heart the feelings of the all Narmada beneficiaries.
He even do not know about the Narmada Project. Just to creat HYPE before his movie Fanna and he has become and hand to the ANti Narmada activist.
Bollywood should also understand the Narmad Issue rather than to just support Amirkhan.

Thanks to media, for pushing this non-issue to such an extent that you people have made big bollywood guys speak out by almost putting fingers in their mouth. I wonder if you entertainment guys (its shame to call you media guys) could do similar things to our politicians to speak out on 1000s of vital issues......
