by dfd on Apr 30, 2005 09:22 PM

I didn't watch the film and won't after reading this review but I like the reviewer's sense of humor. It was fun reading the review. You are doing a nice job Mr Reviewer. Keep it up! I am looking forward to your next review.

Fraud

I saw the movie in a 200 seat London theatre with 12 other people. 12 unfortunate people. In what was supposed to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller, people had started laughing at all the stupidity by the seond half.

Hollywood outsources special effects to Indian companies, but when we have special effects as in this movie it is absolutely amateurish

hi,
i agree with you, rediff was posting 2-3 stupid reviews like this in the near future.(in fact i have commented one i last month also). I feel KAAL is worth for watching once. It is entirely different from other hindi movies with same romantic stories (or some skin shows) and at the end everybody knows what happens.
To rediff,
Please don't post these sort of reviews about a film which has done a better effort compare to other films. If not appreciating also, please don't tell bad about that.

thanks
ganesh

This is not the way one writes a review
by Sudha Sharma on Apr 30, 2005 09:06 PM

I am sorry, but this is not the way one writes a review however critical one may be. You cannot reveal the fact that there is a twist in the movie. If I were the producer, I'd sue you.

I haven't watched the movie, but I am a movie buff and I have read thousands of reviews on IMDB and other sites and I really like the way James Berardinelli writes his reviews.

My suggestion to the Rediff Editor: Change this guy or you might well be in trouble.
Thanks
Sudha

Rediff.com Editors - Why r u guys so greedy?
How much did the Competitors of Kaal, pay to write such a scathing revie of the film??
Besides, as far as I can remember, a few of the movies that rediff dubs as GREAT, are totally crappy boring stupid movies?

pushtivardhnam
by Ankur on Apr 30, 2005 07:19 PM

it seems the pushtivardhanam is from the mritunjaya mantra, which is supposed to be a cure for death....it is in praise of lord shiva....the destroyer/killer.

the complete mantra is :

om, triyambakam, yajamahe sugandhim pushtivardhnam,
urvaru kramivyavandhanate mrityur...........

i forgot the last part...
