Amartya Sen talks more like a Politician than an Economist. let him Spoil Bengal, his home State, NOT India.Now we know why Bengal is Backward [with people like Sen!]
Because of your loose talk,we have invesitage that there is no noble prize in economics which Adolf nobel has declared. Dear people please read on wiki.. Adolf nobel knows that the people like you are not deserved for Nobel prize..thats why has not devloped.
Though it is difficult to bring all over development in any state by one man. There is sufficient development in Gujarat which was appreciated all over the world. Why don't we accept it and give a chance to MODI to bring a good change which so far has not done by any chief minister for many years in rule.People of any religion Gujarat are safe and happy since last few years under Modi's leadership.
Why is Sen glorifying kerala like this where there are no industries, kerala is thriving because of tourism and Dhubai money not becasue the people are educated. In fact Industrialis shun Kerala for the same reason (education) as they start strikes very frequently forcing the industry to close down.
Please come back to india start living in your faviourate state like WB or Bihar. Then open the mouth.Please dont talk loose then you will loose creadbility.
Dr. Sen is simply trying to get the Indian PM's job because he knows Congress Party loves people with PhD in Economics who can serve as part-time puppet PMs and part-time maid servants to the party!

Amartya Sen being a great Economist should better comment on the performance of another economist i.e. MMS as PM. Let him not comment on Modi & his performance in Gujarat. Gujaratis worlwide admire & recognise what NaMo has done in last 12 years.
