Good Projections //But if we do not slip

D. Goel ,Pkl., afternoon, 4.15pm, Wednesday,March 31, 2010.
Well Jaimini Bhagwati must be knowing her Macro Economics and GDP enhancement rates...and yet we shall grow by 5.96% or more is problematic to say the least. Chinese are a Command Econmic Enterprise where as we haveloose-limbed free -economy and Market forces and autonomous Capital accumulation. We have too many chaotic wayward moves that hatrdly fall in easy simple set Paradigm
The results are bound to be far less as certain as predictable in case of regimented contemporary Capitalist society or Command Economy like that of China.in our case we have too many imponderables.Suffice it to say that there are too many slips between cup and the lip.D. Goel

A distant reality!!!!

I am not even sure that india as a nation would exsit in its current geopolitical form. The way terror , naxalism and corruption are getting rampant, i am afraid India would be split into 4-5 smaller countries by then. i pray that i am wrong...

plan
by Dev on Mar 31, 2010 04:01 PM

does the govt and people have any plan to uplift 400m poor out of poverty?
in western country though many people are poor, they have many options of lifting themselves out of poverty.
also the ratio of food prices - hourly pay rate is much lower than india.
basically a poor person in the West can eat as well as the rich for almost a week by working 3-4 hours just ONE Day per week !ie,entire weeks shopping
this sort of thing will take ages to happen in india !

this is foolish
by Dharmesh Patel on Mar 31, 2010 03:55 PM  | Hide replies

As far as the laws of mathematics refer to reality, they are not certain; and as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality -Albert Einstein

So if you think a law meant for 100 people can be applied to 1000 people by making group of 10, its foolish, it also needs a law for 10 groups now, which has to be quite different from those of 100 people.

As far as India is concerned, the development happens inspite of Gov. so obviously theres going to be a limit when things will stagnate, a thresold where even peoples power also will not work and a new system and new policy will be needed for further growth. current growth is things based, mean measured in plain $, while its not inclusive of all citizens. 20% of people controls the 80% of country resources, rather why it can be said like, GDP of India's richeis is 50%, while that of non-riches going to be -40%???
