Best wishes... Build a brand name for innovation and quality
by Bharat Nesan on Apr 30, 2010 07:04 PM

Best wishes Ankit. I hope you build a brand name for both innovation and _quality_. While innovation is inspiration dependent and may be easy for you, building a brand name based on quality is fully dependent on execution and diligence and an uncompromising attitude towards delivering a lasting user experience.

Again, my best wishes.

Go Ahead ...

Congrats on product-ising the idea.

Pls. don't listen to no-good losers, supplicants and 1/2 dead desi 'salary-men'... tell them to ... eff off ...makes 1 BOLD!

Ankit, can you prototype 'alternator' ... or help me make ... 'alternat ... for Maruti, Hero Honda, M&M ... oh! ... it's all about ... hehe ... marketing ... I don't know ... I'm lost!

By the way I was also did stuff with FITT-JEE @ IIT-D. I did not study in India, ... let's just say ... the West ... My love for India makes me crack Indian problems ... for India's sake ... would'nt mind immigrating to India ... I am of Indian origin ...

I believe their is gr8 joy ... and money in solving real-life Indian problems. Sadly, India has for millenia been run by ... biz wise ... 'Angrez' types ... who foist their products ... Indigenised sometimes ... on India ... which create a new set of problems. That's what I want to fix ...

Remember, India is the world's last, really big market ... local Parsi-Marwari types know this ... see how every 1 buzzed about 'rural' markets ... Truth is with reform, Global goods have eaten away 1/2-ling Anglo type city clientele from said Parsi-Marwari types ... export is tough ... so they take their 3'rd rate stuff to the villagers ... & those guys in the back-country are not as easy as city 1/2-lings, so now .. hehe ... Innovation ! ... Tata Ace, Bajaj Pulsar

Prof. Prahlad said it ... 'Bottom pyramid etc.'

Hi Omni.

Good that you are using his products and providing feedback. But I find a tinge of negative energy in it.

No product is of high quality from the beginning. There will be a few shortcomings of it, and things will gradually improve.

Instead of encouraging foreign products, if we encourage Indian products these companies will do better and give better quality results.

Not Only IIT
by atlas software on Oct 03, 2009 12:30 PM  | Hide replies

I have studied in C class Engg College and due to my hardwork and enterpreneurial skills today i am the owner of a IT company employing 125 People exporting 75% of services outside india and growing at the rate of 30-35% . I have been told by some of the professors at IIT and IIM that u people are eligible only for 6000-7000 jobs only and i have proved them wrong. IITians are made for USA and not for India. So we should not feel proud for them. Sorry if anyone's feeling is hurt.

Tell me one thing...did u try 2 get in IIT???I am sure u must have tried & failed badly. So don’t pretend u didn’t wanted 2 take the spot they are holding right now. it’s very good that u have achieved so much success due to your hardwork & i feel proud for you but DONT SAY WE SHOULD NOT BE PROUD OF THEM. they have achieved success because they deserve it. & I don’t give a damn if your feelings are hurt right now
BTW i am not IITian myself but I accept what i am & u clearly don’t.

As an IITin my feelings are hurt cause you chose to single them out. We are just like any one else. Nothing special. Please do not kill us because media hyped us to get better readership. These days, any thing with a tag of IIT get more readership than nude bollywood starlet. But that's the fact.

But at the same time, I must congratulate you for your success and feel proud being a fellow citizen.
We were told 'one u must toe the line to see what's beyond'.

Wishing you Best of luck.

IIT people always do not remember they study in govt's subsidies and taxpayers' money. The are interested in dollars and euros, and when they come back to India on vacation they talk as if they are foreigners and they do not belong to our country anymore. They do not respect Indian folks. They are mostly heartless. They are selfish people. Only few exceptions are there anyway say 0.5%

Dear friend,
Not all people leave abroad for money. People are disgusted seeing the criminal rulers, corrupt administrators and general lack of civilized behaviour / apathy of people.
The only thing which has kept me in India is my near and dear. Those who can manage emotional attachments from a distance decide to live overseas.

I read all the Conversation and found that people having Ego and criticism for everyone else. As the atlis one showing the Ego and then Second one Shows Sympathy towards the IITN's . And the Ankit Showing Criticism Towards Indian Structure, Even He represent to India too. The Fact is that after 60 years India growing Far Better than America. Even the dollor going down compare to other currency in the world. India Will be the No1 . And for sure Americans will work for India one Day ( Including Our Indian NRI's )
