Subsidy 2 Lac; car price 1 Lac; Total 3 Lac!
by Kabeer on Feb 26, 2009 01:36 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The subsidy of 0.1% p.a. state Govt loans and free land accounts for Rs.2 Lac for each car produced. Plus the price of the car is 1 Lac. Total cost of production 3 Lac!

Bharat Ratna to Ratan Tata!

Jai ho, Ratan!

Yes, he deserves it, the Bharat Ratna, consiering NOBODY, none of the WORLD's leading car manufarurerers thought about it. He concieved the conept, nurtured it for 5 years, when all douoted it and at the final moments, Mamata pulled the rug under his leg. But yet he brought it out. Its not only India, -- many countries South Africa and oher many othe asian and african countries are looking forward to it

Land given at Sanand was used for Cattle feeding, and its own by Gov. not taken from the farmers. It won’t cost a penny for the Govt.

It will create thousands jobs to guj will help automobile industry in Rajkot and Bhavnagar, real estate boom to abad which we already see.

In return of the subsidy of 0.1% p.a. state Govt loans Tata will invest 7000cr for Infrastructure in Guj.

For guj it is very small price it has to pay for the development.

Subsidy to Nano !

Let us get our maths right friends. Even if you consider 1,000 Crore Rupees in different forms of subsidy, the subsidy per car at 8% annual interest, with 80,000 cars per annum, works out to mere Rs,10,000 per car only !

Buddy Vivek!

The 0.1% p.a. loan of 9570 Cr at an annual loss of bank FD rate of interest at 11% (as applicable on that date) itself translates to Rs.1052.70 Cr p.a. Now divide this loss itself by your 80,000 cars. It translates to a subsidy of 1.31 Lac per car!

Now add back free land, no stamp duty, no registration exps, subsidised electricity (almost free etc) it translates to 2 Lac per car!

Now let everybody know who should get whose maths right!

If you really produce a car for 1 lac then it is an achievement. But at the end of the days subsidies come from tax payers money; so whom the Tatas are trying to hoodwink?

Please calculate. Only interest of Rs.9000 Crores will be Rs.3 Crores per day at market rate. That is equal to 300 Nanos per day. This is black hole of economics. Ratan Modi have jumped in to it. They will never come out it.

MR RATAN TATA , NANO AND DIDI !!!
by No One on Feb 26, 2009 01:20 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I can see u all r very much annoyed with DIDI. Maybe u r a bong like me . It is undoubtedly a loss of huge magnitude to West Bengal ... it would take a few decades to overcome it and get back investors . But still I would say , lets not think that DIDI has not taken any lessons from this sad episode. Since she is the only opposition West Bengal has politically , lets only hope that she or other party leaders do not repeat this mistake ever. In the eve of the coming LS elections lets give a call for construction of modern India ... and shun all destructive practices . E.g. if DIDI wants an upliftment of the farmers I believe she can very well organise a constructive movement to see that every inch of cultivable land gets maximum yield thereby pulling the poor masses from poverty line ... like Punjab n Haryana . I guess this was the essence of Mr Ratan Tata's open letter to Bengal as well.

She tried to make money by threat.
If any development happen in Budha period, then it is a threat to her personal career. Thirdly this didi people are successful in Dharna, Anasan, in all the destractive activities, not a constractive one. Very uncomfortable as a railway minister and find execuse to resign. Ask what his brother doing.

Why dont we replace the hardcore-good4nothing politicos with non political leadership and see if we benefit at all or not ? wat u say friends ?
