ya as if the worlds corrupt people are going ahead and telling everyone they are corrupt...noone is mad to proclaim it..more so rediff wudnt want to get into anyone's bad books...in anycase this report is as done by forbes and not by rediff..
Then elect correct leaders and also work for urself beat the wrong guys on road dont wait for some one to beat, for example i have beaten a officer some time back for asking money ofcourse i ran away do same and then they will be online and start working for urself then worrying about others.

We have always seen artical who is richest in the world? Has any one thought who is the poorest one in the world?? What kind of humanity is this?? They say equality? where is equality?
I blame magazines and media for over showing this rich people and hyping too much in news.

my dear syed if we start counting the poor, u will need a lifetime to read all the names. please dont be hypocritic and try to praise someone for their hardwork
I applaud these people, since they have made it on the global stage. Also, please note they have got where they are through combination of hard work, risk taking, intellectual prowess and luck. These qualities should be encouraged and not short cuts through RESERVATION. I dare the govt (UPA, BJP) to force even one among them to reserve jobs in their companies..
Every year media reports there is an increase in number of rich Indians.We get happy. Rather than this one should prepare list of poorest people in this country and if 1% of people are able to get exit from the list. THAN WE SHOULD FEEL HAPPY & PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN. These Mittals & Ambani's can spend millions on wedings and wore designer clothes worth of lakhs. But cant they do some benefit to society by decreasing prices of their products so that middle class or poor people can afford to have these goods. But NO every year they increase ZEROS in their Balance Sheet and to show they do little bit of charity or social work. Everybody needs to earn but cant they do some good to society by making their goods affordable to all those who cant afford.

Why do you expect one to do charity? One important point in the above article is that 62.00% have earned from scratch. It is really hardwork, of course smart work too. It only proves that everybody earn provided they are clear about their objectives.

why? Why loser? Just Bcoz i hv written that these richies should contribute. Just see pathetic condition of our nation. How many farmers commited suicide bcoz they weree unable to pay loans, how many people r living below poverty line, people living on footpaths, uneducated children, unemployment, rising rate of crime and many more such problems. I think u have not thought about all this. Which is the hard reality of our country or probably u r expecting to see ur name in this list next year.

mr.narendra...its not my upbringing thats to be questioned here...if u notice most of the people in the list...either they or their fathers have started from scratch...they were born rich...they worked towards it..they had luck..or GOD with them...have u seen the movie Nayak...there is a scene where anil kapoor asks the people in dharavi..why they give their house on rent wen they are alloted houses...these rich guys have done more good to india than harm...!!!

What good had Lakshmi Mittal done for India, why should we feel pride that he holds an Indian passport...? When asked why he doesn't contribute to social good he had the temerity to say, "I have still not yet reached their age...." . Apparently ignorant that Bill Gates is younger than him. The Government has contributed to this. By exempting dividends from tax and ESOPS, it has made sure that the super rich pay no tax on the hundreds of crores they receive each year as dividends from their companies and from stcok market operations while their lower employees pay 33% tax.

how much percentage of ur earning do u give charity...maybe 10%...max 20%...well the richest people also give that much...maybe out of compulsion ya...but they do give...if we are giving 20%, we have no right to demand them to give 21%...ya i mite sound like a hypocrite...but thats the world...and its easier for us to accept that fact, rather than changing the world around us...
