Openers: Sehwag Kumble (he can still make 100 wont get out easily)
Middle order: Irfan pathan Sadagoppan Ramesh Ajay Jadeja Virat Kholi Ricky ponting (He apply for indian citizenship and get chance here, he also get IPL as otherwise no one is taking him. He will tell us secret about australia.)
wk-keeper captain: M S Dhoni
Spinners: Sachin tendulkar (on his spin bowling alone he can be selected in team, his batting is plus) Ravi Shastri (He is mature and handles situation well, plus he is friends with umpires so he will get lbw decisions)
Fast Bowlers: Zaheer Khan Umesh Yadav Mohammad kaif (He is the fastest bowler in the world bowls at 170 km, india should not save him for world cup 2015)
Sachin might score another century - okay even in Australia - but let us look ahead. Look at others rotting without a chance. It is better to play at same level with a youngster than one whose days are clearly over. In that case Gichrist, Hayden, Jayasurya and Ponting should still be playing onedayers

Mr.Shiva, t is indeed unfortunate that we cannot replace a 39 year old. But, where is the replacement. This is the state of Indian cricket. 1.Gilchrist -replaced by Haddin/WAde. 2.Hayden-By Watson/Warner/Marsh. 3.Jayasurya-By Jayawardane, Dilshan. 4.Ponting-By Watson, Marsh,Husseys etc.. But, what about the Indian team itself if not the Indian bench strength???

Unless you give them enough chances like, how will you know? Don't forget Sachin is on his last legs! It is like a father running his business thinking his children are useless. One needs clear breaks in life. By keeping Sachin on endlessly, we will be a laughing stock. We are on a losing streak now.

Sachin is scoring these 20 or 30 with some of the best shots seen. but that is talent and experience.his reflexes have slowed down considerably. Most commentators are overlooking this fact. They can only see the good shots. Kulasekara , a medium pacer gets him regularly that says it all

Its true that Sachin is ageing and has to retire sooner or later. But, not at the expense of others failures...

Excellent comment by Usha, There are several Ranji players who can score 20 or 30 runs that Tendulkar & other Indian player scores nowadays. So, its better to scrap this entire Indian team and replace it completely instead of just eyeing for Sachins blood. Mind It.................. Dhoni...

A point to be noted here is tendulkar is tendulkar today after playing so many matches & not from day 1. We have to start devoloping players or we will have no next generation of Indian cricket. What else tendulkar wants from the game more?????

Even more unfortunate is the fact that this comment of "no replacement" is coming from a former chief selector .. such is his vision ..utterly short sighted and pure personal glory singer.. and he doesn't even take a single lesson from the ponting episode. I would actually attribute the poor state of cricket in India, despite all the money and motivation, to our poor thinking critics and commentators .. all they know is sing the glory of some well established player .. even if they are performing poorly and not worth the praise!

You fellows will not support Venkatraghaven, Robin Singh, Srikanth etc... Let, atleast Mumbaikars support Tendulkar.

Absolutely right. Ramdev also should not advise politicos on back money.
To all youngisthans Justify these (Mongisthans) players contribution in the team. 1.Rohit Sharma. 2.Sewhag. 3.Zaheer Khan. 4.Praveen Kumar. 5.Raina. 6.Jadeja. FYI, Gambhir in the last 2 years had played only 3 worthful innings. Virat Kohli is just a flash in the pan without any consistency. Irfan Pathan can never be used as a main bowler but only as a supporting 6th bowler. Ashwin , Rahul Sharma , Umesh & Vinay are the only new comers in the teams. Other fellows had minumum players 70-80 matches between them. Then why blame Sachin alone. Fools who quote ponting as an example should realise that australians are having minimum 5 worthful players to replace ponting like Watson, Mitchell Marsh.. etc.. But with whom are you going to replace Sachin, with. Manoj Tiwary????? How many centuries did he hit. If the same Sewhag who scored 219 in ODI’s a few months back is struggling, what will a Tiwary, Rahace can do. If they should be rotated, let Greats like Rohit Sharma, Raina, Jadeja be replaced with & not with Sachin. Sachin is not playing well, but that dosent mean that others are playing wonderfully. Maximum Rahane will score 5 & Tiwari will score 8 in Australian conditions presently. So, it is useless to blame Sachin alone. Afterall how much did Dhoni scored in the tests. If Dhoni, with his useless Helicopter shot can be in the team, anybody can be in this Indian team. Mind It…..
