He did not even go on to score a double figure. So what is that you are cribbing about? Indians have played miserably today and Tendulkar, given his experience, should have stood his ground and played intelligently. But alas, see what happened!
Even if he got this century it is not going be any bigger deal than getting 99 centuries. If he gets 100th ton would you at least have a title like: Sachin huffs and puffs to 100th ton."???
He was out on 7, then how he missed a century? Normally, a batsman when is out on 90's is known to miss a century. By rediff language, all 21 players, except Chanderpaul missed their respective hundreds.

you don't see the point, he missed it just by 93 runs, unlike other players who miss it by 7 or 8 runs when they get out in nineties.

He did miss his century, didn't he? For that matter, everyone else did just that: Miss his Century!
What the fun if he misses century? he is playing for century definetly he will do to get bharat ratna. headlines should focus on other important things. he is not missed century with small margin .
Scoring & runs and missing a century.......... Time for him to play some ranji and get back to form before Australia..... Same for Dhoni ( he also missed a century by hundred runs)

take it from me - he will retire only at 60 and will probably be the first to claim pension.
