Advantage for India?????
by Surya TheGreat on Nov 07, 2011 07:50 PM  | Hide replies

Do you really know the scoreline for this match?? There's only one result in this match and it's WI win. As usual if pitch does something our mastro Sachin never scores. The trend continues. Good job.

Don't be so pessimistic . India is definitely behind , but this collapse was due to some poor shots . The batsmen's complacence , rather than the bowler's ability produced most of the wickets . The pitch isn't good but it's not an unplayable turner either . If India can get WI out for around 150-175 ( possible since the batsmen except for Chanderpaul look weak against spin ) , India can chase around 300 in the fourth innings . Either way the match is unlikely to go into the final day .

Who will guarantee that those poor shots wont come again in 2nd innings. may be this time couple of guys who have not performed in 1st innings will perform in 2nd and who have made fifities in 1st innings would flop in 2nd innings. How many times you and me and all other have watched this poor shots coming now and then. Most important is consistency. Except dravid no is seems consistent, not even sachin, laxman, Dhoni, and even Yuvraj.
We cannot be positive and optimistic all the time, sometimes we need to accept the facts as well. Our batsmen most of the time lets us down not bowlers either in one day or test.Negativity creates self concerns and brings new ideas and that can help.

How critically our batting depends upon him! The entire line-up crumbled like a house of cards as soon as he left the scene.

How long should we tolerate Sachin and Laxman
by Aurobindo Nandi on Nov 07, 2011 06:55 PM  | Hide replies

In the past we have lost some good cricketers because of some of the so called great players like Sachin & laxman. Are we planning to do away with Kohli & sharma? Have guts to do away with the ruts.

Cant agree anymore. If Sachin gets his 100th ton, then many feel like winning 100 test matches in a trot. Really pity on the individualistic thinking and not a team thinking. There are so many youngsters who showed we can win through the recent England series in India. Please look at youngsters and its time to put great old players in hall of fame and move forward.

India will lose this match by around 100 runs
by Pratik shah on Nov 07, 2011 06:41 PM  | Hide replies

West Indies are already 116 runs ahead, and 8 wickets left, How can they lose from here, I could not understand. Sachin Tendulkar was a bit let down in england with average of 25 in 4 tests. VVs and Dhoni are not playing well at all. So India are already 3 down with hardly 10 runs on the board in 2nd innings. Tailenders are even worse, so make it 20 for 6.
I think india are going down very quickly from no 1 to no 5 in test cricket. By the end of aussie series they will be no 5 in test cricket it seems.

Indian cricket is crossing through transition period. If they want to get back their no. 1 position, selectors have to take some strong decisions. They should ommit the man, for who fitness test is not necessary, which is a silly thing in modern cricket.
